The Evolution of Style in 3D Film
I wanted to show how much theatrical animation has changed in the last few years. Incorporating 2D elements has always been attempted but was rare and went unnoticed. That’s not the case anymore with more adopting it, anime too!
Speepdaint!!! I got kinda hungry at one point uuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhh ignore that
this is the sequel to his very fun adventure in Australia and now he is very happy and not dead trust trust trust
I’m gonna draw scar saving him later trust trust trust these things just take time tho and I’m gonna go on holiday for Easter (yay btw) but sadly it will mean I have to leave early and be far away from home and not have much time to draw (less yay)
at least chocolate tho :3
Do u guys have any Easter themed drawing suggestions??? I’m thinking of maybe just drawing a bunch of my bunny characters and getting around to drawing my lifesona (who is also a bunny lol)
Holy yap
uwu night guys anyway it late in Australia time lol
It's been now two years since Toriyama's death.
I don't know if I said something last year, but if I did, then probably just a few words. Now I want to talk more about this brilliant man, the works, and how Dragon Ball became a thing in my life.
Akira Toriyama
Okay, I don't know much about this guy, but I really respect him... It all started down, with flaws, rejections, disqualify but he became smarter, got more knowledge and came back with hits! He didn't give up! Also I love how he's sometimes like some online blogger, but before the Internet even existed.
His works: Dragon Ball, Dr Slump and Sandland
I'm aware that he did more than just Dragon Ball. Even before Dragon Ball, he already made a hit with Dr Slump. I will going to watch Dr Slump, but the newer one, the 80s doesn't have a German dub. Oh and don't forget Sandland, one of his last words. It's funny but handles serious topics, like the lack of water in some places or the problem with rich and poor.
How I see Dragon Ball now and does it affect my life?
Dragon Ball is still big and a part of my life. I love the characters, the humor, the arcs... just basically everything! It even gives me a chance to try new anime, including Dr Slump or others for example Spy X Family, or Detective Conan or whatever you call it in English. Okay it's actually Pokémon that my first contact with anime but even Pokémon made me think of Dragon Ball, the urge to fight, to get stronger, following the dreams even when it seems impossible.
The world won't be the same without Toriyama's works. Many cartoons, games, animes wouldn't be here if Dragon Ball didn't exist.
Thank you, Toriyama-sensei
So Shueisha just announced that Toriyama passed away last week on March 1st from a subdural hematoma (head injury)
The site has crashed, but it's from both official DB twitter accounts
Thank you for so many wonderful gifts

This month marks the one year anniversary of the untimely passing of Akira Toriyama, creator of most popular and arguably the most influential manga series of all time, Dragon Ball/Z. He’s also worked on other projects besides the manga, such as the popular JRPG games Dragon Quest and Chrono Trigger (its respective protagonists at the bottom center and left you see mourning their creator). This piece took me almost 20 hours (spread over three weeks of two 2.5+ hours of live streams on my Twitch) and normally wouldn’t have gotten that long, for originally I intended to paint with light watercolor, but I made a critical error of ‘amputating’ the dragon’s limbs (ROFL) and since I didn’t want to have to redraw the whole thing, I decided it can be fixed with gouache which I could just paint the missing limbs into the dragon, so it took even longer. But I did finish it tonight, and am pleased with how it’s turned out. Now I can relax and move on to the next masterpiece in the works…
This drawing is based on a Game Boy mom meme, but except of a mother beating a Super Mario Land level for her kids, it's a retired, legendary-military-general-turned-a-local-sheriff helping a fiend prince beat a level of a scaveneged, gameboy advance game, the teen struggled with for a while now.
