My comfort zone is my bed.

I don't like being back "home".

I've only been back in Perth a week and I already want to return to Melbourne.

I feel like being here has taken me back in time to where I'm only allowed to be Sandra the daughter, rather than Sandra the independent adult. Having to ask my parents permission to do things or go places (though I'm trying my best just to "let them know" rather than "asking their permission), being restricted by Perth's shitty public transport system, being lost without a the new support system I've built for myself.

And of course, most of all I miss Simon.

Mum said two weeks is such a short time for me to visit, but, like last time I was here, after the 1st week I have already had enough. I want to go back to Melbourne. I want to be near Simon again. Within reach of his strong arms and calloused hands, his warm brown eyes and silly hair cut.

I am in love.

I feel like I've grown so much this year, and I feel like I cannot be this person I have grown into while in Perth. I know it's more in my head than anything else, but I feel it's easier to be myself in Melbs.  Oh well, one week to go.

I think in the new year I'm going to restart my "little things" project. Write something good that happened every day and look back on it at the end of 2015. A variation of the piece of papers in a jar. A notebook is more practical :p
