I've lived in almost every possible configuration of people, but for the first time, it's potentially going to be me and a roommate in a small 2-bedroom apartment. I've lived with a boyfriend, but this is my first time living with a roommate (I've lived with my family of 6, a shared house, long-term hostels, and alone); it's her first time living away from home.

Any tips on how to make the best of the situation? It's quite a small place, and all the furnishings are mine. She's my friend's younger sister; we've known each other for about 20 years. I'm 29, she's around 27.
