I have no idea how I actually paint this stuff, I feel like I just black out and come to 9 hours later with hand cramps and a migraine. The grimoire was fun to draw, the clothes? Not so much.
This was supposed to be a quick sketch because I started it during exam time, but then I somehow sunk 55hrs into this. Where did I even find the time??
The headress I gave Magnus has become like 50% of my personality at this point, and I have come to the uncomfortable realisation that if I was a character in warhammer it would the woman who painted the portrait of Fulgrim. You know, the one who went crazy and started murdering people because her paint colours weren't bright enough. Yeeaah, she's me.
Like, I know the colours aren't dull, but they kinda are tho. I finished this piece and my first thought was, "hmmm, clothes too boring, needs more detail." Logically I know the clothes are fine, but the voice in the back of my head is telling me Magnus needs more shawls.
Augh so anyways, Slaanesh speaks to me apparently.
This sketch is so confusing (also Lorgar kinda ugly ngl), but drawing bald Lorgar was actually kinda fun, and I almost regret sticking a shawl on him. Magnus's stupid hair caused me so many problems, not least of which being that he's covering up a joke I decided to include.

How each Primarch reacts to an S/o who doesn't like to be cuddled when they sleep.
I saw that someone had done a prompt of how each primarch would like to cuddle with their s/o when sleeping . I don't remember who did it but when I find them I will link the original post and creator that inspired this.

But what if their S/o can't sleep if they are being cuddled or touched. So they are cuddling and being all sweet on each other and when it is finally time to sleep they just kiss them good night and turn their back to their primarch and pass out. How do they react to this.
This would probably take place very early in their relationships.
Lion el’Jonson
Laying on the massive bed next to one another just stared into each other eyes. Lion gently held your hand pulling it towards his face. You let out a yawn as he places a soft kiss to your hand. This is the softest you have and will ever see him. Only when he is next to you will he ever be this relaxed and ungraded. As sleep takes over you subconsciously pull your hands to your chest as you curl into a ball.
Lion understands he is not one for much physical touch just having you next to him is enough. Knowing that you are safe and protected by him is enough to allow him to sleep peacefully.
He always makes you sleep closets to the wall so that if anything where to ever come through the door he would be the one closest to any threats.
Fulgrim
He lay wrapped around you like a koala peppering kisses onto your forehead, cheek, neck anywhere he could reach. You two had been laying like that for hours and you where exhausted. The days events had been wearing on you but no matter how relaxed and comfortable you where you just couldn't get to sleep. Fulgrim was almost asleep when you wiggled out from his arms onto the unoccupied spot on the bed. Only once you were not wrapped around where you able to fall asleep passing out almost instantly.
Flabbergasted at first. How could you sleep better not in his arms. The mere thought of this was absolutely ridiculous, You must have moved in your sleep no way you wanted to get away from him. He reached out towards you with the plan to pull you back into your arms but once he grabbed onto you. You subconsciously shook him off.
Shocked and honestly really hurt. Never had you pulled away from his touch or rejected his affection until now. He can't and won't wait until morning. Some thing has to be wrong. He wakes you up acting as if you lost a limb. It is going to be a very very long conversation explaining that no nothing is wrong and no you are not upset with him.
He gets into the habit of waiting until you are fully asleep to start cuddling you again so you always wake up with him wrapped around you.
Perturabo
Often times Perty was to busy to come to bed at reasonable ours and that was the same tonight. You lay on the massive primarch sized bed wrapped up like a burrito alone. While you don't like to fall asleep you do miss feeling of his weight next to you. Often you will place a large pillow behind you so simulate him being there.
Over time he has realized that you like him near by but not completely wrapped up by him. Most often he will just lay an arm around you.
He once woke you up by pulling you into his chest and you hadn't been able to fall back asleep so he now is more careful about not waking you up when he eventually comes to bed.
Jaghatai khan
He always comes to bed but often never stays slipping out into the night to continue working. You have gotten into the habit of laying back to back with him as you sleep. He enjoys the reassurance that you are there to share such a vulnerable time with him. He is not much of a cuddler during sleep so the topic of your sleeping preference has never really come up.
He notices that you prefer to sleep untouched. You often scoot away in the middle of the night waking him up. He considers it a lovable quirk of yours and it is how he tells you are truly asleep. He doesn't and would never doubt your love.
Leman Russ
Lemans favourite form of cuddling is laying directly on top of you and often he is the first to fall asleep. It is the third night in a row that you haven't been able to sleep almost at all. There is no way out from under this man mainly with his weight on top of you, you are completely immobile. But any time you wiggle your way out from under him he grabs you and drags you back into your original spot. The man doesn't even wake up. So in frustration and exhaustion you are able to weasel your way out from under him and dodge the large hand reaching out for you by giving him a pillow. You have elected to sleep on the couch in his attached office instead.
Confusion. The next morning he wakes up planning to lay in bed cuddling together but you are just gone. He is instantly in full alert. Where are you? Did something happen? He is angry at himself for not waking up. How could someone have stolen you right out from under him and him not have woken up. He checks the ensuite bathroom. You are not there. He bursts into his office like a man on a mission. Practically knocks down the door.
Startling you awake as he rushes to your side and dropping to his knees why the couch. He is so relieved that you are alive that he doesn't bother questioning about why you are not in bed or what happened. Simply picks you up and brings you back to bed to cuddle.
He will just assume you went to the restroom and couldn't get back up onto the tall bed. He gets little stairs for you added in and will continue to cuddle you the same way as always no matter the amount of times he finds you on the couch in the morning. You need to be direct with this man or you are not gonna get anywhere.
Rogal Dorn
Rogal likes to have you lying on his chest so that he can feel you breathing and heart beat as he falls to sleep. Knowing that you are close to him and safe. It doesn't take him long to realize that you have not fallen asleep yet. He always makes it a habit of falling asleep after you. So when he notices that you have been shifting your weight trying to get comfy for an hour he isn't shy or nervous about asking you if something is wrong.
He is completely understanding and asks you to get yourself comfortable on the bed so that he can adapt the way he sleeps around it. He still wants to be close to you to make sure you are safe so both of you spend the next few minutes trying out different sleeping positions to determine the "most optimal one for both comfort and protection"
In the end his sizes comes with the advantage of being able to be the big spoon with extra room so that he is able to shield you and not touch you at the same time.
Honestly he considered it a strategy drill and a bonding activity so win win.
Konrad Curze
He is so worried about hurting you in him sleep that he barley touches you as is. The conversation never even comes up because as it turns out he also can't fall asleep while being touched. Just knowing you are in the same room is enough for the both of you to feel safe and protected.
He thinks people who need to be constantly touching someone is weird. *cough* Fulgrim *cough*
Sanguinius
You Love his wings and how protected that make you feel but by the throne feathers can be so itchy. It didn't take long into you relationship for him to notice something was off. It was the first time you two ever slept together that he noticed. It had been after some "strenuous bedroom activities" He lay on his stomach with his head facing you a wing draped over you like a blanket. At first it was nice and sweet but after about an hour all the feathers on your skin started to itch. Not knowing what to do you very slowly started scooting further and further away trying to get out of the all encompassing feathers. It being dark and having not noticed how far on the bed you had scooted to. In one last shimmy backwards you went tumbling on the side on the very tall primarch sized bed hitting the floor in a loud thud. (It was a good 6 foot fall)
Instantaneously he is out of bed rushing over to comfort you and make sure you are okay. He is confused and worried and the best thing you can do for him and yourself is to just be upfront with him. Tell him that you love him and his wings but that you just can't fall asleep when anyone is touching you.
He will apologies and think him not knowing this about you so some terrible thing he has over looked or something he should have know. No matter how much he wants to hold you close at night he will understand and do his best to leave a bit of distance between you. But for his own piece of mind you are never out of arms reach.
Ferrus manus
Always self conscious about his arms and the chill that they bring he makes sure there is a blanket between you and them. His arms are heavy and it is really hard to fall sleep when you are trapped. The first few time you fell asleep with him consisted of a lot of tossing and turning trying to get comfortable before passing out from exhaustion. It was taking a toll on you and he noticed right away. Apprehensive to bring it up because you know he already resents his arms and if you don't explain this clearly you know that it will only drive a wedge between you and cause him more resentment about his arms. You leave him a letter expressing how you feel and that no you don't his like his arms and that even if he had normal arms you would still not be able to fall asleep.
After he gets this letter there is no discussion about it but the next night when you go to get comfortable he adjusts himself to be back to back with you. He can hear your breathing as you go to sleep and it allows him to be between you and the door. Making sure that you are protected.
Angron
He does not sleep for you out of the fear that he will harm you so he never finds out about your funny little sleeping habit and there is no cause for discussion. (though he does wish to cuddle but he is not confident that he won't accidently kill you)
Roboute Guilliman
Most often then not this man does not sleep like ever. He has mastered the art of the 5 min power naps. He has gotten so good at them in fact that he is able to nap sitting up right. So most of the time you are asleep way before he even gets to bed. Sometimes in the middle of the night you will wake up to him having cradled you against his chest.. You might not be able to get back to sleep but these quiet peaceful moments are to few and far between. So you never bring it up to him. Maybe in the future when you are living the quiet life he wishes for you will have to tell him but for now no point in letting him know just yet.
Mortarion
A quiet evening after a particularly rough day you and Morty are spending the evening cuddling in bed. It started to get rather late and with out even thinking about it you roll off of Morty grabbing a pillow pulling it to your chest. You shift away from him facing towards the wall with your back to him. Falling into a comfortable sleep almost immediately.
Devistation! Did he do something wrong? Do you hate him? Are you disgusted by his horribly deformed body? He lays there looking at you holding back tears. You perfer to hug a pillow over him. This man stays like that all night spiraling. He is no able to bring himself to reach out to you thinking the worst.
He won't mention it in the morning out of his own shame and self loathing but the next evening when he won't touch you make sure to ask him about it and show that you do want to cuddle with him. Explain to him that you don't hate him and that you love him very very much.
Magnus the red
Often falling asleep after long discussions about anything and everything. On the occasions that you actually make it to bed at a reasonable time he will hold you close to him as you continue to talk and he info dumps on the newest thing he has discovered or is researching. He can sense your discomfort before you even start shifting around. This man has mastered many things but the art of subtlety has eluded him. He will place you done on the bed next to him and straight up ask you if you are uncomfortable in his arms.
Once you explain that it is hard for you to fall asleep when you are being touched his completely understands goes off on a tangent about a creature he found on a planet once that where super social but never slept in the same dens together. You arn't sure what to make of the comparison but there is no time to dwell on it as he springs off into another line of converstaion.
You two didn't get to bed at a reasonable hour like you planed but the sun was raising over Prospero before you even had the chance to think about sleeping.
Horus
Once this man is asleep there is no waking him it is like trying to wake a bolder. You figured this out on the first night you spent together. It started cute with you sitting at the head of the bed and him laying on his stomach looking at you. A Joke was said a small tease and the next thing you know you are underneath him with a giant man passed out on top of you using you stomach and chest as a headrest. There is no way out and no matter how much you shake him and tap on his head he will not wake up. How he is still alive when he sleeps like the dead no one knows but you are going to have to wait until morning to tell him about you sleeping preferences.
He is apologetic when he sees how tired you are but laughs off the comments about him sleeping like the dead. He will respect your wishes to not be touched as you sleep but the moment he is asleep he has no control of his body and you keep waking up being his personal pillow so not sure useful that conversation was but he will insist that he didn't to it on purpose. But you can never be sure.
Lorgar
He likes to look at you as you sleep and for the first bit of your relation ship it wouldn't touch or cuddle you in bed he would just watch you. You are the most divine and precious thing to him and there is no way he can risk breaking you. Though all he wants is to hold you to his chest as you sleep next to each other.
Once he eventually gets more comfortable knowing you will not disintegrate in his hand he will begin to cuddle you and once you tell him of your preferences he will completely under stand. (kind of)
He is going to take it as confirmation that you are worried that he will crush you in his sleep so please explain to him that, that is not why you are telling him that you don't like to cuddle when you sleep. He will stress over it if you don't.
Vulkan
This man is Hot! Or... he runs hot. If you have a problem with feeling other peoples body heat as you sleep you honestly might just want to get different beds or maybe ask him if he or Perturabo can make you like a heat repellent blanket. There is only so much you can do when you are dating a human furnace.
He definitely understands the heat being hard to cope with for a baseline human. But you to came to a compromise. Before bed you lay together cuddling and talking him holding you to his chest and then once you are ready to sleep only then do you seperate from his arms moving to the other side of the bed. And this system works!!
both of you get good nights sleep and you are very much in love.
Corvus Corax
You have never had this conversation before you can count on one hand the number of times you two have fallen asleep together and woken up together. Most of the time you fall sleep in your shared quarters and when you wake up in the morning there is a indent in the bed next to you and a black feather. This is the only way you know that he was ever there.
Apharius and Omegon
You had this conversation once but you aren't sure who you where talking to or even if it was the real them because no matter how many times you have this conversation you always are cradled close to a chest as you fall asleep and always wake up next to one. No clue if it is the same one as before. You really gotta figure out a way to tell them apart cause this is starting to make you head spin.

So I was telling one of my friends about this mini fic thing and apparently the concept for this was the "most autistic thing ever" I mean.... ya lol It is so normal not to like other peoples body heat IDK what they where on about lol.
