Hanji and Sannes

I doubt that I'm the only one who think that hange  torture Sannes mainly to revenge for Nick rather than complete their task. What Levi said confirms it.

She could never forgive him. Yes, before leaving him, Sannes said the stage always needs someone in his role. Hanji recalled it several time. But I‘d rather regard this as a warn to themselves.

Why is Hanji so furious about Sannes? Because he hides or twists the truth? NO. She showed her understanding to helpless reporters. She hates Sannes because the man had tortured her friend to death under the name of righteousness(He did the same to Erwin’s father and Armin’s parents). That‘s what she can’t forgive.

Both in the role, people still have choices. Hanji chose not to further plot against the people who questioned her. Hanji chose to confine Floch and others rather than torture them or put them in death as Sannes did. It’s her choice.

She had gone to the position of having to hide the truth and been tired of it, but she have undoubtedly rejected part of Sannes’s “role”.

She did know this may bring more uncertainty to government’s plan, (the Yeagerists did give her a big “surprise” as result). If Hanji severely punished these soldier, would they have the chance to launch such a violent coup? Maybe they still have, but at least temporarily, they would lose their leader Floch and became confused.

But after she have lost almost all things, she said to fainting Levi that I don’t think what I did is wrong, but the situation is still going like this.
