No one had said anything to her when she walked in, not a single word. No one had to.
After all, they all knew what happened. And there wasn’t a damn thing they could do to change it.
Downing the last of the amber liquid in her glass, her ears twitched at the sound of someone sitting at the bar stool on her right and a familiar blue coat came into view out of the corner of her eyes. The mood was heavy enough, and as soon as the skeleton had sat down, it only seemed to intensify even more. He hadn’t said anything, yet the look on his face said it all. Bebe tightened her grip around her glass.

[⌘]-- For a moment it was just the awkward silence between the two beings as they shared a staring when they came upon each other, but Madotsuki was first and quick to break her gaze away under the mentality that staring is rude. She still acknowledged the skeleton’s gaze regardless, however. And it made her antsy, like, why was he staring at her? No, he seemed to be more like... staring through her. Could he be looking at her...
No. Not her SOUL. Not the culmination of her very being. Not... that broken thing.
[ ❤ ACT ] *COWER
The small child crossed her arms in front of her chest as if that could hide her fragile pink heart and its statuses from the monster, her small form slightly cowering even smaller.

☞:five things my muse is good at
Sitting cross-legged on the floor, Chara opted to place their knife by their side, freeing their hands as they carefully thought about the answer. It was a worthy question, to which they had some precise answers. Lifting a small hand, they began counting on their fingers, “One, I’m very good at stabbing, obviously.” they began, taking careful consideration about their own skills and hobbies. This was a question they’d at least want to be able to answer in their head. “Two, I’m good at setting traps around the house and stuff.”
Chara leaned back, resting on their palms as they hummed carefully. “And three…” They went silent for a moment, trying to search for more talents. All around, they were utterly fantastic at most things, but what did they excel at… Again, thoughts went toward stabbing and trapping, “I’m good at forming plans?” They weren’t sure if that was the same as trapping or ambushing… Finally they gave an exasperated sigh, “And… Finger-painting, I guess?? Honestly, all I need is to know how to kill…”

Sharply they sat up, calm expression immediately replaced with fury at the very implication that they may have faults. The disrespect, the infuriating annoyance that most living things Chara could not stand. “The only problem I have is being too small to beat down an adult! But I’m smart enough to find ways around it.” They growled, hand dipping down to grab the handle of their knife and tuck it back to their sleeve, flat against their arm.
Not a moment had passed before a distant echo of a voice could be heard… eliciting an even more furious expression out of Chara. The mun’s voice echoes from above…!
“…Obviously, they aren’t good at controlling their temper. They aren’t very great at getting physically strong, as they said above.”
“Above where?!”
“They can think and make plans when they’re calm, but they’re very easily-distracted so kinda suck at actually carrying out those plans. They’re bad at saying things gently. And finally, they’re bad at being quiet.”
Chara was reduced to a grumbling state in the corner, no longer interested in this ask.
“As an added bonus for one of the things they’re good at, Chara is actually very good at listening, y’know, when they’re calm.”
“!#@$!”
