And while we’re on the subject of food preferences, I’m introducing ROS this round. My Grad Students got off easy this time. They just have to eat vegetarian for two rounds.
ROS stands for Random Occurrence Scenarios. They are minor (winning a small lottery prize) or major (getting married, having a kid, or dying) events that you randomly choose from and apply to your Sims. I’ll be rolling an ROS for each household every round, but some Simmers only roll a handful of scenarios each round.
I’ve culled events from here (which also includes a link to the program I use for rolling the scenarios) and from several of my favorite bloggers like @deedee-sims, @pinehollow-blog, @pixeldistractions, @retromaisie, and @sullivanrandomness.
