2. Where do they prefer to read? On the sofa, in bed, at a table, on the porch, in a cafe?
Whenever she gets the chance to take some time for herself, in amidst working long hours and looking after Michael, Nina prefers sitting on the sofa, drowning in blankets.
4. What’s their food weakness? What food can they never turn down?
Nina’s a novice ‘foodie’ and likes to expose Michael to different foods from all over the world but the one thing she can’t go without would have to be a big bowl of fettucine alfredo. Or when she’s having a cheat day — cheesy chips with lashings of gravy.
6. What holiday is their favorite? Which is their least favorite?
Nina’s favourite holiday would have to be Christmas. The food, the presents, the songs, the films all make her heart grow two sizes too big. Although, the promise of pancakes on Shrove Tuesday always makes her salivate with glee. Her least favourite? Probably Guy Fawkes’ Night. She’s very much like a feline in that loud bangs have a habit of making her leap out of her skin.
8. What sort of toys did they play with as a child?
Nina wasn’t really exposed to very much technology until she was around ten years old. When she was very little, her toys often consisted of pretty things to dress herself up in and imagination was required for everything else. Although, her family showed their competitive streaks at Game Night with Cluedo and Guess Who?. After that, her parents finally gave in and bought her a Game Boy Advance for Christmas. Unfortunately, they also bought her brother and sister the same console so she didn’t exactly feel special.
