Saramir is one of my very old OCs, he has changed a lot over the years though. His first role was being the main antagonist of the overall first part of the story, later on unveiling the most horrible figure is his brother. As I rewrote the story several times Saramir's story changed, he became Samuel's foster father, a soft and friendly one but still acting as the cruel vice ringleader towards everybody else.

I WROTE FIC FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FIVE YEARS, Y’ALL.
And it’s my first Magicians fic aka the thing that has happily consumed my soul the past few weeks :D
Basically, Q uses art therapy and living in memories of their other life to cope with Operation: Save Eliot. Depression, longing, and an eventual post-Monster reunion ensues.
Here’s the intro:
Quentin stops by an art supplies store on his way back to the apartment.
It’s the first time in hours that he’s been alone with his own thoughts. He’s not sure what pulls him into the store, but after getting the one-two punch of mourning his dad all afternoon, followed by the Monster’s news about Eliot, he deserves some aimless time to himself.
He wanders the aisles, not really looking at anything, the colors and textures bursting and blooming in his periphery—until his eyes catch on a display of chalk pastels.
Quentin buys two of the biggest packs they sell, plus three sketchbooks, before he can even think about why.
This time with Aura, Noah, Lili, Benedikt, Keith, Delilah, Samuel, Saramir, Elana, Loreley, CiR, Josephine, Furuta and CuS.
Bits and more regarding the characters behind the cut C:
Aura - Counterpart to Trauma, she's based on another LP, but only roughly on one song (aka 'Aura und das Schneckenhaus'), she's also a underling of Pierre but can't remember her former life.
Noah - Lydia's twin brother, very confused. I took forever to find him a doll shell. As a character he ends up corrupted and turns into a man named Ephraim. Funfact: Samuel's first doll shell was supposed to be Ephraim.
Lili - Pierre's little sister, or lets say... what is left of her. She was the first one he tried to patch up but kind of failed. She is mute but their sibling relationship is still intact.
Benedikt - Reverse Pinocchio, as mentioned not too long ago he wished to be a doll as his mother always favored dolls over him. As he turned into one she wa so shocked she lost her sanity. Benedikt never learned that her dolls were corpses she had prepared after killing the people she found 'fitting'.
Keith - or Kayleigh. Super spoiled fashion victim, changes styles as much as they change their pronouns, they are genderfluid and born with the ability to see ghosts, nobody ever believes them until.... Trauma appears and starts talking back.
Delilah - Protagonist of 'Weltenzirkus' and one of my most disliked OCs. Maybe because a former friend helped fleshing her out and that friend ended up being super abusive and toxic :') so eh ... not my fav but important for the story. She's bratty and never is responsible for anything (according to herself).
Samuel - My first ever OC, changed through the years but still holds a very special place in my heart. He's a clown but currently forbidden to perform as he got injured, he is now... the errand boy. Until Delilah pops up and gets partnered with him and he is forced to perform again...
Loreley - My witch, I think out of my female dolls she is the most spoiled one I own. She actually started out as random Minifee I wanted as dress up doll but then split into ... 3 other dolls.
Elana - The second out of the "dress up Minifee". She's as a character not only Loreley's lover but also Samuel's foster mother, she sadly disappears without a trace one day.
Saramir - Current Vice Ringmaster of the circus and Samuel's 'Dad' figure. He is not allowed to help Samuel but still ... helps him where is able to. Bigger brother to Oisín but has no clue his brother turned cruel in the meantime.
CiR & CuS - putting them together. I originally had ordered CuS (DC Jakov), got the wrong doll (DC Andre) but didn't notice until I had customized the doll. I ... bought the wrong doll off the dealer after noticing and then got the original doll I had ordered. As I wanted them to match I made up a new concept for them. They sell tickets and advertise the circus.
Josephine - I'm not much into cat themed dolls but this little cheshire cat with the grin... I fell for her. She arrived on christmas eve and is my little holiday doll. I kind of adore her overall concept with the little store to sell candy T.T one of the cutest concepts I came up with.
Furuta (Minami) - I won the head in a photography contest from Peakswoods and I am still thankful I got it. The character was first supposed to be a supporting character for Samuel, that's why I sometimes use 'Minami' as name. But the character became Furuta from Tokyo Ghoul, he's a Clown and aside Kaneki and Takiwaza my fav from the series.
Saramir! This guy changed to much over the years.... well not regarding his appearance but his character. He was one of the main villians back then, now he is one of the important support characters but still one of the main cast.
Saramir is a Goblin who can takes human form. He possesses a certain kind of magic, compared to the most of his kind he is a more peaceful and wise specimen. He lived in a colony with his brother until humans destroyed their home, from then he tried to work off his ass to give his brother the opportunity to attend a school that helps him to develop his magical talents.
He ends up in the circus as Katheryne’s right hand, he is a toy for her and he is forced to stay in his human form by her. She likes beauty.
Aside from the usual circus stuff he has to do he is ordered to take care of Samuel. In Samuel he somehow sees his brother at an young age and has true fatherly feelings for the boy and at least tries to help him somehow, even though he is kinda forbidden to give him more than the bare minimum to stay alive.
Saramir enhances Samuel’s caravan to be safe when the door is locked, nobody can spy on him then. He regularly brings some fruits or bread into the caravan while Samuel is out and fills the make up pods since that stuff is super expensive and Samuel would never be able to afford all the make up he needs be look kinda reprensentable to the visitors. He tries to heal him when he got badly injured and talks to Katheryne to give him more breaks. Sometimes it works, sometimes it only make it worse for Samuel. There is a thin line of things Saramir can do without risking to be punished himself.
In opposite to that Saramir is a very strict vice ringleader, the crew fears him, as he seems to be as cruel as Katheryne is.
Saramir was shocked that his brother, Oisín, followed him into the circus. He also recognized a weird change in his brother’s behaviour and knows there is something wrong with him. It will take ages until Saramir figures out what happened, but then it is already too late (this happens in book 4).
After the Otherworld circus is destroyed the continues living in the human world, disguised as human. He joins the del Gelle family circus (the circus owned by Vincent’s father) and works there as artist. The times become peaceful until Delilah pops up again and break open old wounds.
I never featured Katheryne and Saramir together in the past. Despite the looks Saramir is not really found of Katheryne, he is the vice Ringmaster just after her and somewhat her toy to a certain point, but only because the demons she deals with owerpower him with ease. The only task he got from her he really likes is to care for Samuel, being his Fosterfather is the one thing holding him in the circus. Saramir knows that if he leaves Samuel will no longer have support within Katheryne’s crew.
