The Sargrif inside just noticing in the Meta vs. the Red team rescue Simmons fight... Sarge and Grif are way more amicable than usual.
Like Grif is being a sassy brat the whole time, and Sarge doesn't even seem all that upset about it. Grif also saves Sarge from getting crushed and meanwhile Simmons is just left to fend for himself the whole time... fff Grif doesn't even look back. He's too busy backsassing Sarge.
Grif and Sarge's banter in this hecking scene... GOD... ' Please Grif, it's so obvious. I don't want to insult your intelligence by explaining every detail. ' ... Sarge admitting that Grif is smart vs the later seasons when he acts like Grif is stupid.
... You know... looking at this and then Season 15-16 when Sarge is suddenly really interested in Ranks again... is really confusing. 'Cause Sarge found out that the Red v. Blue thing was all fake... but he suddenly cares about outranking Grif later....
Prequel : A year has gone by since Epsilon made a decision that directly affected everyone negatively. The boys have retired and spent half a year in relative peace until Dylan and Jax came in with a message. Church might be alive.
Everyone is happy about this except one person. Dexter Grif, who quits and attempts to leave them for good.
Part One : Sarge and Simmons drag Grif onto the ship against his will and force him to come along. Story one focuses on Grif's backstory involving the doomed colony. But also, Grif confronting Simmons about them as friends before one of them finally confesses. With a brief segment where Grif and Caboose talk about Church’s decision.
Part two : Since they're a couple now, Simmons and Grif waste no time holding hands at every opportunity. But Grif and Sarge are forced to confront their feelings toward each other when they meet the Blues and Reds.
Part three : Focuses on Tucker and Caboose dealing with the fallout of Church’s decision and the negative impact Alpha and Epsilon had on their relationship.
Donut is forced to rethink where he belongs and questions whether it’s wuth the rest of the red team or his boyfriends.
Meanwhile, Grif, Simmons, and Sarge struggle to enjoy a vacation
Grif and Kaikaina go home, bringing Sarge and Simmons along for the awkward family moments along the way. Grif and Simmons break house rules and hold hands a lot.
Butch Flowers and Grif are forced to confront their past.
Meanwhile, Caboose and Tucker are fighting about Church while Washington tries to keep the team together.
Carolina, Caboose and Tucker go off while Loco and Gene stay behind but they want to go to Hawaii too.
