A series of commissions for someone on facebook of their dragonborn astral self monk, Copper
Fanart for Arc 5 of Zac Oyama’s “Rotating Heroes Podcast” because Finally I can draw some fanart without being too stressed about human anatomy 😅 I wanted to make it look sorta like a 90s animated animal movie while still maintaining my own style (and I may or may not have repurposed some of my old characters for Harland and Tuffy’s designs sshhh.) It looks more like one of those animals-committing-warcrimes YA novel series though.
I keep thinking this about each arc, but this one’s definitely been my favorite so far. The premise is so unique: a pack of normal ass wild wolves in a DnD world gets awakened and has to navigate this brand new reality of magic and politics and good and evil all while trying to get this half-elf baby to safety. I’m not sure if anyone’s even done this before, playing as animals with animal stats and then approaching the concept of being awakened through the eyes of that animal. It’s also very nostalgic… it reminds me or running around in the forest as a kid and playing wolves. I’m gonna be sad when this arc has to end, but I think that about every arc and then the next one hooks me right away. I definitely recommend this podcast if you like DnD actual play podcasts.
