I have never finished BG3 simply because I get demotivated. I booted it up this weekend, decided to make a new Tav and omg….it clicked. I’ve never bothered with a back story, just picked what looked fun. But not this time. I actually thought it through for this play-through and I’m having so much more fun.
Meet Catherine. A artisan who is disillusioned by drow society. Twice a widow, being picked up by the mindflayers was honestly not the worst thing she’s experienced. Nothing can hurt worse than the loss of two true loves.
A warlock bound to ancient shadows, she is dipped in the darkest night, it dances in her eyes and voice. It’s off putting on top of her drow heritage. She’s often mistaken for being cold when in fact she really just has nothing to say. Catherine just prefers to offer others silent company.
She doesn’t mind the travel in the sun, as much as it hurts her eyes. Or the overly chattiness of a certain wizard. It’s almost nice to be away from her manor where ghosts roam the halls. Though she misses her dark library and chubby mini behir, travel on the road isn’t so bad.
