Whenever I make something for them I always listen to Champagne Coast by Blood Orange, theres just something about the song thats so spiritually glassgun and its been the main song I loop when i get to draw them ough..

Very self-indulgent sketches for my Sailor AU…

The Idea was that during the day of calamity the chaos triggered a continental drift that would seperate the territories from one another. Boats becoming the main mode of transportation. (Though there are such things as land and sky ships, but marine travel is the most utilized.)

Builders do basically just turn into boatswains if they so choose to join a ship instead of staying on their islands.

Because of this, Vitri would keep her main operations in the Highwind part of the Western Sea but she will encounter Sandrock during one of her voyages. Getting pulled into the situation of their territory after running into the Pirate-Bandit lurking the borders of the East Highwind Sea.

I’ll make proper designs eventually, but oughh this has been scratching my brain like crazy….

Ooops forgot to slap this here Been working on expanding Vitri's lore before sandrock and made some scar placements for her...

Just gonna put a segment of what i typed a while ago over here. as lore funsies.

However while on a trip back from Walnut Groove with Amo-Marie and Priscilla the ship would be attacked, Vitri locked her sisters up in the captains quarters while her and the rest of the crew did their best to defend the ship. Her sisters were unscathed but Vitri was heavily injured during the process, her hair also would be sliced off after the attackers tried to yank her over to their vessel. What would have happened if she got dragged over? What would have happened if they got to her sisters? What would have happened if her father and the crew couldn’t defend the ship? She was terrified at the idea of going back there, while her sisters eventually recovered and rode the sea again Vitri couldn’t bring herself to continue her role as boatswain. No one ever blames her for retiring the position so early on but it’s something she can’t live down, feeling like a coward for abandoning the sea.

Thought of that wedding dress doodle again and wanted to give her an actual design...

Vitri (and also GlassGun) thought of the day is that I think they lowkey progressively get touchier throughout their “friendship”. Stuff like leaning into the other when talking while the other lets them or helping with personal grooming…

I like to think Vitri shows affection through physical touch and she doesn’t realize she’s doing most of the time. She does her best to keep her hands to herself by keeping them crossed but if she’s with someone she cares about she would just do it unconciously, an example being Burgess or Mi-An where she would place a hand on their shoulder/arm.

But for Logan specifically that touch would extend more from her hands. If they’re sitting close she would press her arm against him, she doesn’t realize when that press becomes them leaning against each other when they’re chatting. Maybe the two even give eachother quick taps whenever they pass by and can’t talk yet.

One of the scenarios that have been scratching my brain so much is Logan fixing her hair for her. Vitri is very particular about her hair and only lets her loved ones touch it, letting him touch her hair says alot about what she feels about him. She does the same to him as well and tries to fix his hair for him. As a treat.

Imagining what GlassGun could’ve been if they met before the horrors ™

Specifically Vitri’s cause the ship attack would’ve happened when she turned 20, I imagine her being bolder and much more open compared to 27 y/o Vi now…guh
