(Gay) Thoughts on first few chapters of Morning Star
Hi chat I'm going crazy ! I literally paused my Hades II run bc I was like I Need To Get This Out Of My Head and onto paper because its going to eat me alive.
HUGE SPOILER WARNING for the first two books in the Red Rising trilogy and the first few chapters of Morning Star !!!
This is specifically going to be a rant about the little gays in my little straight book that I am imagining with the power of my mind.
Bitchhhhhh I mean I have SO many thoughts but this is about Sevro and Darrow. My god, these bitches gay! I get they're like brothers and all but, my MAN, Sevro TOOK DARROW'S OLD, RED EYES??!? WHAT IS GAYER THAN THAT?!?! This man loves Darrow so deeply and so loyally it actually pains me I love him so so so dearly, it clearly means so much to Sevro to, quite literally, have a piece of Darrow in himself; one that, lest we forget, is also deeply meaningful to his identity as the son of a Gold and a Red, everything else about him is Gold, but finally this gives him a way to express his identity as part-Red, and to tell all the world who he is and how proud he is of that!!!
I literally love Sevro so much I would die for this man and I SWEAR to god if anything happens to him in the rest of this book... Pierce Brown you better watch the FUCK OUT !!!!
Even if they aren't ilke gay gay, by god they are at least like platonic soulmates. They are meant to be together, in whatever shape or form that may take.

Edit: WAITT I FORGOT SUCH A KEY PART- the FACTT that Sevro does not stop searching for Darrow even after his “public execution” was televised by the Jackal, saying that “he’d know” if Darrow had actually died, that’s he’d’ve felt it— they would find each other in every world, in every universe.
Okay, so Viren somehow create a spell that let him transfer his mind through time, and first thing he does is tries to save Harrow. But king, as stubborn as he is, never let him because he want to stop "cycle of violence". After few attempts Viren understand that time-spell uses his own life as it's source and bigger jumps takes more life out of him. His condition gets worse and worse with every use. Viren tries and tries again, calculating every move and event, only to hit dead end once again. In every jump he learns new things that he wasn't noticing before like how little attention he paid to his son or that Harrow hides how much more Sarai's death hurt him. He feels that next attempt gonna be his last and after spending a lot of time on a new plan. Finishing it, he uses spell one more time and get not to long before events with lava golem. His last plan was to find alternative solution and change Sarai's fate. He succeeded and now everything is better than ever. With knowledge of future he fix approaching problems on their root and now there no hunger,no mourns, no kill, no assassination and Katolis is living its best year. Viren even feels sad that he will enjoy this peaceful time only for next two weeks.
you bet Sarai woke him up at 2 AM when she was pregnant and then later when little ezran cried at 2 am she would cash it in and it would be harrow’s turn to get up 😂
