Aki-tanni ("Two Guns") - Sarsi - Curtis - 1927
The Sarsi are an Athapaskan-speaking American Indian group with close linguistic relationships to the Sekani and Beaver to the west and northwest. They now number about five hundred and live on the Sarcee Reserve just southwest of Calgary, Alberta. Read more: http://www.everyculture.com/North-America/Sarsi.html#ixzz5CD3ZyqSs

Sữa Bắp Non & Mirinda Hương Xá Xị // Corn Milk & Mirinda Xa Xi Okay, so the corn milk... it really, really tasted like corn. In an almost aggressive way. I was expecting a mild, creamy drink, like soymilk or almond milk, but this was very sweet and very vegetal. A learning experience.
And later I learned that xá xị is the Vietnamese pronunciation of sarsi (or sarsaparilla), which explains why the soda was basically a root beer. These are really tiny details, but I don’t learn new stuff in Japan often enough. It was cool to be somewhere else.
An icon set of things from my childhood
So, for those of you that don’t know, I made a Chiss OC on my rp blog based off of swtor, Sarsi. This... isn’t even her ‘canon’ design. This is her Imperial Agent AU (an AU because Thrawn is the only Chiss Imperial, honestly). She’s actually a smuggler, a captain of her own ship who would rather jump out an airlock than follow anyone’s orders. The only reason I did this was because I wanted to try a thing or two with the background. I think it turned out rather well.
