I get it, fics come and go, but posting what you’ve got always feels like giving up, which, no, never! (maybe)
exactly!

this would be the best idea, just, y’know, saying…
lol yeah I should probably at least post the porn I have written. I've been working on the next chapter of that fic for literally a year - the porn is written but the plot part of it sucks so I've been picking at it
the one with the people who do things, and think things, and try and save people, but they're not very good at saving themselves, but that's okay, because they've got each other to help put themselves back together each time.
Buffy!
Or, if not Buffy, something I should probably watch.

If you could give Derek Hale one thing in the world, what would it be?
I'm going to have to go with everyone else and choose "a good day". I'd really like to give the kid a good life after everything else he's been through, but I'm not sure how far my magical powers extend.
JUST A NICE THING. A SOLID, STEADY NICE THING FOR DEREK HALE WOULD BE WONDERFUL.
top five future careers for derek, if I didn't ask you last time! orrrrrrr, top five things derek accidentally says the first time he meets the sheriff as stiles's bf, orrrrrr top five songs/bands derek is reluctant to admit he loves
Future careers for Derek
1. I really love the idea of him building things, making furniture or something.
2. History teacher. Because reasons. (involving glasses and waistcoats and being really passionate about his subject)
3. Deputy Derek.
4. Being a dad, because it’s a job.
5. A house flipper. Like, I enjoy the idea that he has money, and he puts that money into buying houses and doing them up and selling them on.
Merry Christmas, saspiesas!
It’s a few days before Christmas and safe to say the coldest December since the invention of the wheel. The air-con in the police station foyer whirs in the background, taking the edge off the otherwise debilitating cold. Though its effect doesn’t last very long as Toby insists on making several trips outside for doughnuts or a smoke. Phoebe sighs and wraps her arms closer to herself; Toby is a lovely boy, only just graduated from BHHS before he decided to stand on the right side of the law, but he was jittery and bored by the menial tasks he’s made to endure as an intern. Phoebe smiles to herself as she’s reminded of another hyperactive young man who makes frequent appearances at the station.
As if summoned by her thoughts, Stiles Stilinski bangs into the station, shivering and holding a plastic bag bearing a logo that looked suspiciously like the vegan sandwich shop two streets away. Throwing a sympathetic grin her way, he turns just as another figure entered the station, looking the perfect picture of a disgruntled cat. Phoebe instantly recognises him as Derek Hale and shoots a worried look at Stiles, who doesn’t notice but grins at the man in front of him, amusement and fondness obvious on his face.
“Come on, grumpy” Stiles grins, shaking flakes of snow from his coat. Shit, when did it start snowing?
The older man just glares and Phoebe’s hand moves a little closer to the gun on her hip. She knows Derek Hale had been relieved of all charges but the guy is intimidating to say the least and Stiles isn’t renowned for his abilities of self-preservation. So, better safe than sorry.
Stiles isn’t fazed by Derek Hale’s mood and moves forward to punch him on the arm. Suddenly, the older man grabs the outstretched hand and Stiles freezes, staring open-mouthed at him. Phoebe’s grip tightens on the gun and is about to ask Derek Hale to leave when his expression suddenly softens. He lets go of the younger boy’s fist only to entwine their fingers as Stiles opens his palm, smiling gently at the older man. They stand there for a few moments; one hand clasped together while the other holds a bag or a bundle of car keys, their faces so open and tender Phoebe has to look away, choosing instead to stare at the pattern in the wooden desk.
When her awkwardness has become all but unbearable, she clears her throat loudly and smirks when they jump, breaking eye contact and blushing furiously. Stiles shoots her a sheepish grin and she raises her eyebrows, pointedly glancing from him to the ex-fugitive still clinging to his hand. Stiles only shrugs and sighs, starting to walk towards the Sheriff’s office. Derek Hale follows dutifully, the tiniest smile lingering on his lips as he stared at the back of Stiles’ head.
If Phoebe smiles a little once they’ve left the foyer, well, no one has to know.
Now, Toby isn’t stupid; determined, rebellious and a little arrogant yes, but not stupid. He can see when two people have chemistry. And it just so happens that the Sheriff’s kid and that creepy dude Hale from last year practically reek of chemical fumes, like Breaking Bad is going down in the Beacon Hills police station.
So Toby isn’t really surprised when he turns a corner in town on New Years Eve and sees Stiles Stilinski and Derek Hale together. Only they aren’t laughing, like you would expect on the world’s greatest night of revelry, but shouting. Stilinski’s arms are waving like crazy as he crowds even further into Derek Hale’s personal space and the latter has their faces so close together they might kiss. But instead, the older man just shouts something back and Stilinski’s face crumbles. The street is awfully silent now the two are just staring at each other and Toby turns to leave, staggering slightly from the disproportionate amount of alcohol he’s drunk. A small voice says he’s being unprofessional but that voice can go fuck itself because this is Toby’s first day off in two months and sue him if he isn’t going to have some fun.
A sound makes him glance back at the couple behind him; Stilinski had started to go, his body facing forwards but his head turned back to look at Hale who’s grabbed onto the boy’s wrist, speaking frantically, the words tripping out of his mouth in his haste to explain whatever it was he’d yelled. The older man stutters to a stop and stares at the ground, flinching when Stilinski pulls his arm away. But the boy doesn’t leave. He kisses Derek Hale fiercely, pulling him close, holding on as if he were drowning. Hale seems shocked before he kisses back with just as much fervour, wrapping his arms around Stilinski’s waist, pulling the boy flush against his chest.
Toby decides it’s time to go when they start moaning. Obscenely loud. He grins, punching a fist in the air, yelling “happy new year” and is answered by a shout from Stilinski as Toby heads back towards the bar, where he thinks he may start a conversation with that handsome young man by the jukebox. His name was… Danny?
