So what are your thoughts about the idea of "one representative" to take the test? I'm thinking O if it's not Clarke and Bellamy together. (That would be a great "Bellamy steps up to show he cares" moment.) BC would be the choice for this show but O has had a real journey! And saving the human race would be a great way to end her arc if the test taker will have to sacrifice themselves and not return. Cuz really are they gonna come back and live a regular life? More likely be worshipped. 🤷‍♀️

I would be surprised if it was anyone other than Clarke or Bellarke - because this has always been her/their show. 

BUT that said, I’ve said for a while that the war is a what, not a who, and the what is a test of humanity. The head and the heart. 

I think O’s journey was actually supposed to take all season and was condensed because of the Bob stuff. I think she’ll sacrifice herself for Bell if it comes down to that.

At first I thought it could be Maria’s dad, but then I remembered that the people there were like two generations older so yeah probably Mimi’s dad.

I’ve gotten used to heavy handed because I used to watch Supergirl so I didn’t mind. Plus sometimes it’s the only way you can spread that info.

it’s here on tumblr in chapters, and here on Ao3 as a ridiculously long one-shot.

it represents 4 months of hard work, is one of the longest fics I’ve ever finished and is the fic I might be most proud of writing. 

it was also meant to be part one of a series, but then my life went insane and i lost drive. i have a good portion of the karen POV part of the series written but never published, and a good 10K worth of words for all the other parts, all random scenes and a handful of different storylines. 

seeing TPS2 might be the motivation and fire I need to get my shit together, so who knows? i could easily adapt DDS3 into a kastle-centric version that could easily fit within this universe, so there might (MIGHT) be more coming.

No. He’s absolutely right. It IS a joke. Octavia has literally used the stories he read her as the basis for her leadership and it’s insanity.

Octavia tried to have Madi assassinated in 5x09. The Grounder specifically said Blodreina ordered him to kill Clarke and Madi. Then Octavia gave a speech to her people about how Madi was a coward who ran away and she would “deal with her”.

When Octavia said “she’s just a child” she meant Madi is just a child and is therefore no fit to be a leader. She’s still ok with murdering her, though.

Also I have a high suspicion Octavia made Madi her second with the intention Madi would go to war by her side and “tragically die” during the battle.

You can’t say “Octavia wasn’t really trying to kill Madi because she only sent one assassin”. That’s such a reach.
