Haikyuu is so freaking good, And AFTG is in my holy trinity of best m/m books (along with Captive Prince and Icos). Noragami is an excellent show as well. I love it to pieces. I am too intimidated by One Piece’s length to jump in right now. Maybe someday.

OMG Haikyuu is fucking amazeballs! I really, really did not expect to love it as much as I do. It’s just SO GOOD AAAUUUUGHHH it gives me all the feels. I bought a couple of Haikyuu!! merch so far and plan to buy more because <3 <3 <3 I really tried not shipping people in it but. I kind of can’t imagine two of them in particular not living their lives around each other in some way lol

Also, aww thanks for having ICoS on that list too! <3 <3 You know, another connection between Captive Prince and All for the Game series is that they’re both written by super lovely, nice people who are awesome. Which I always think is a plus :)

Noragami--that was another one that really surprised me. I wasn’t sure I’d really care for it either way but I fucking LOVE YATO OMG. Like legit I cannot get over how much I love him! I’m so sad I’m caught up on the manga that’s out because I want there to be more and more and more to read T_T Haikyuu I have to read past season 2 of the anime, but the rest I’m up to date.

PS: another two that caught me by surprise that maybe you might be interested in checking out are re:Zero (which is pretty good, it really sucks you in toward the beginning, but I’m not sure if there will be more story beyond the end of season 1?? There better be??) and Magi (which is long af but has some really great characters. I’m particularly partial to Alibaba I heart him <3)

One Piece -- it’s definitely long, but look at it this way! You have something you can read/watch for the foreseeable future. Like, you can totally take your time with it and have something to look forward to for a long time. Unless you binge watch it like I binge watch everything, then even when you get caught up the fun thing is you still have more to look forward to! fwiw, One Piece is my favorite series ever, period, any medium. Instead of looking at it as the length of the series, you could look at it like having something to easily use to bribe yourself for things or just one chapter or episode at a time. But I’m biased; I’m always going to try to encourage people to watch/read OP if they’re at all interested because I heart it so much. Anyway, have a great day! <3

what, the age thing? well, just to clarify (if it helps) at the start of the series alec is 16, and seregil is... idk, mid 50s? but because he’s an ~magical elf~ he looks 25.

so yeah, there is a huge gap in both age and experience. on the other hand, for the majority of the first 2 books they are just friends, and i think their friendship is developed nicely, and the way they end up together does not come across as creepy.

give them a go, and maybe just read the first two books to see whether or not you want to continue with them.

I loved everything about the book, the way Apollo flirted with boys and girls, how he stills suffers because of Hyacinthus and I was so happy! And I hated those fucking homophobes giving bad reviews just because of something like that.
