Whatever happened to Sathrynn? such a major void on them in the last few months. Kind of weird how they vanished.

Sathrynn has been effectively banished to the Shadow Realm after this expose proving our long standing concerns about their conduct and the company they and the Forlorn Order keep.

The greater context of this was the Forlorn Order and Sathrynn hypocritically attacking one of Argent Dawn's longest term community event providers on the utterly brain dead "gotcha" of a crude (and self deprecating) joke they made in one of the urls of an upload to the Argent Archives (yes, basically a nothingburger.)

Compared to the company that they keep such as this individual in particular. Instead of simply putting their hands up and admitting blatant double standards and apologising for it, they doubled down, multiple times.

A quick search for the #sathrynn or #the forlorn order tags on our archive will net readers quite the smorgasbord of typical enclosed clique mindset hypocrisy in action. It was no wonder Sathrynn and her friends got on very well with the likes of the PCU, considering the general shared proclivities.

Just wow on the whole Sathrynn leak. I know I'm a bit late to the party but holy shit, Coad was right about them way over a year before their weird kiddy necro-fiddling abuse rp came out.

What I find more disgusting is the complete lack of reaction from their friends. The same ones who were getting their panties so damn twisted over you "attacking" them. It's always been like this though tbh, people don't actually care about your weird proclivities and actively support you if you're their friend.

Just wanted to say, master stroke at exposing the hypocrisy on AD so well.

We thank you for the kind words of encouragement, dear reader. You are entirely correct about player behavior. It is entirely natural to want to defend your friends, human nature and the like. However as responsible adults it is also our role to call out when our friends are being harmful to innocent people.

What is particularly nauseous about the hypocrisy around ERP is no one really cares about it, yet the PCU players and other hysterical moralists believe they have some sort of need to denounce consenting players, invariably adults these days, about what they do in private. Sathrynn was of course one of these players, who in turn was exposed for their own bizarre and borderline abusive tastes. We would have not bothered to expose them had they not been so adamantly vocal in shouting "ERP bad". In an overwhelming amount of cases we've seen across the years the constant seems to be

Player hyperfixates on why ERP is bad.

Player is then discovered to have questionable tastes contrary to the message they're putting out.

This is then exposed by ourselves here, or by other exposure blogs.

Player proceeds to either A) take very badly to this and purges their internet presence in hopes people forget or B) doubles down and apparently the exposers are now the abusers.

In the case of the PCU their excessive doubling down on their behavior is what has contributed majorly to their overall decline.

If this was a handful of cases, we wouldn't have bothered to make so much of an emphasis of it but it is truly one of the oddest trends on Argent Dawn - if you proclaim ERP is bad 9/10 times you're likely an avid enjoyer of some probably very "interesting" online fun times.

Through the grapevine we have been given this interesting loredrop on the antics Sathrynn has been up since on their apparent "abandonment" of Argent Dawn.

Usually we are somewhat doubting of such logs, but these are extensive to the point this is not merely some quick little edit jobs to make someone look something else but a genuine case of a disturbed individual who has deep seated issues.

We have been saying Sathrynn has been a problem for over two years now, and thankfully, though in disturbing circumstances, we can see the rest of the community wake up to the type of individual they really are.

Now we encourage our readers to read the presented data and draw their own conclusions on the matter.

Sathrynn once more attempting to trash over a community purely because it is something they dislike - Vulpera RP.

Apparently the linked image alleges that a member of the largest Vulpera guild on Argent Dawn was doing something bad purely for being... the wrong age? While we personally don’t care for child rp, it is the personal choice of the player if they wish to play something.

What draws our attention more is this is Sathrynn who is trying to moralise what should be played and what should not be played. The same Sathrynn who has no issue being friends with someone who plays a busty, underage undead female of diminutive height and who has clearly fetishized art in their profile.

Sorry, Big S, it’s a Big L for you of all people to criticise what is acceptable to roleplay and what isn’t and taking it to their recruitment thread to smack them with would be like the good people of Argent Dawn airing out the collective laundry of the Blood Elf community in the Highblood Myrmidons recruitment thread for you.

That is of course if the linked screenshot is even real, these sorts of people will fabricate any sort of “evidence” against people they dislike purely because they are incapable of accepting that the world has people doing things that are doing no harm to them personally but dislike enough that they must sabotage and harass for their own ego.

More eagle eyed captures from the now rapidly degenerating PCU/Anti-PCU thread. Earyn makes a number of key points between the attempted derailment by the PCU by advertising about other MMOs (more on that in another post) but this one captures the general appearance the PCU give off to those who are completely unaware of their inner workings. Earyn is completely right, most people who are not in the PCU tend to stay away from them anyway due to the whole thing being a failed vanity project besides the egotistical “us or them” mentality they constantly give off without even realising sometimes. Even the suggestion of a rebrand is vehemently denied by long term faithful such as Sathrynn

Quite the opposite to their insane paranoia, we have already suggested a change of brand would be a good first step to removing the stigma around the cult-like vibe the very phrase “Perroy Cinematic Universe” has. Also, don’t lie Sathrynn. You’re still in the PCU bed, holding their ideals wholly besides.

The first step to changing something for the better is admitting there is a flaw in the system, something even scandal ridden Blizzard can do.

Sathrynn likes to appear to give off a disinterested, perhaps even amused aura when negative attention is focused on her misdeeds but when that begins to impede on her ability to gain positive attention, reinforcement from the most vile people in our community (as seen by her resurgence in the PCU controlled cesspit discord) the barriers are raised and it very clearly shows her true colours.

Criticism? Not in my social bubble.

And now her vicious attacks against innocent players can continue unabated shrouded by her friends patting her on the back. You can take a person out of the PCU, but not the PCU out of a person.

Not content to attack CoAD based on their former official membership and continuing spiritual membership with the PCU, Sathrynn/Deatholme and friends (Vashava - Dirge of Teldrassil, PCU guild) also enjoy throwing tar on other long established community members. In true PCU fashion of course Shonn is often used as a punching bag because of 12 year old rumours being inflated and blown out of proportion to the point where what actually might have happened in the past is completely different to what has been claimed.

If Shonn was as guilty as even half of what has been claimed he has done, why has he not been arrested by authorities or even banned from the game? Simple, because it is lies and slander. The PCU mentality even after no longer being inside the Highblood Myrmidons still lingers in Sathrynn, that is to say large and successful communities outside of their control must be attacked.

It is rather strange that Kreranir extols people within the community to not spread hate or toxicity while accusing Shonn (like so many others) of the heinous crime of “being CoAD”.

Continuing the topic of genuine anti-PCU sentiment

We would like to share our own thoughts regarding Argentdefenders very pertinent and insightful post.

It cannot be entirely unexpected for various larger Horde guilds to publicly display that they are “Anti-PCU” as a means to try curry favour with an already more limited pool of players on Argent Dawn Horde. The PCU is far more dominant in the Horde scene due to the long term presence of the Rotgarde and Hand of Conquest and due to the culture of RP being more concerned around guild roleplay over open world roleplay.

Though it does come across as strange that if groups like the Forlorn Order are actually anti-pcu that they do not advertise that as such, or enforce such policy. As highlighted we originally took the the case of Sathrynn is someone very much a PCU fellow traveller, that being sympathetic to the individuals, goals and methods performed by another group and in turn gains tangible rewards for association with said group. We then decided to go deeper and we found that far from being merely a fellow traveller today, Sathrynn was in fact a member of the Highblood Myrmidons. Clearly their distance from the PCU is not as cleanly cut as they like to portray.

With this in mind, with irrefutable connections to the PCU with Sathrynn ( glancing at their twitter feed confirms this, art commissions, retweets and harassment of other players) and they obviously have anti-CoAD anti-exposure group biases because they have still retain an investment in the PCU cult. It should also be stated the reaction from CoAD and ADAgitator is completely justified considering we were the groups being derisively referred to in the first place.

It should be noted that we are not attacking the Forlorn Order, nor do we consider them inside the PCU but some long deliberated advice from the CoAD editor team would be as follows -

If your guild stance is as “Anti-PCU” as claimed, then start acting upon that rather than using it as a convenient lure while as Argentdefender succinctly put it  “take directions from the same playbook.” in terms of behavior, while housing clearly players who have not fully uncoupled themselves from their PCU cult fantasies.

That said we praise the GM of the Forlorn Order for making it clear that they do not approve of the PCU, words are simply that ultimately. We hope that the Forlorn Order will continue this good stance and join the #NoPCU movement as a result.
