Day 7 Crystal of the week Today we are going to talk about satin spar! Satin spar and Selenite are very closely related as they are the exact same mineral called Gypsum. The only real difference is the formation in which they grow; Satin spar tends to have the fibrous cat's eye affect whereas regular Selenite still has that cateye look but it tends to be more milky and translucent.
