“In some ways this album is just as astonishing as his debut and only studio album, Grace, It demonstrates his ongoing development as an artist, his perfectionism as well as his creative spontaneity. Its compilation was overseen by his mother and record label, and released almost a year to the day of his tragic death by drowning in May 1997. . Other highlights are the utterly gorgeous Everybody Here Wants You, which is the bastard lovechild of Al Green and Prince. It was written as a love song for his girlfriend at the time, Joan Wasser, more commonly known as the artist Joan as Police Woman these days...” .
