Since its her birthday, I found it appropriate enough to post it now. Why tf does Sato have so many different designs.

Ive been thinking about this for a while (its not like I can think of lit anything else when it comes to a character who cant even get A POST FROM THE OFFICIAL DR TWITTER). But in practically every single iteration of Danganronpa where Sato is even shown for a bit, she seems to get a different design every time. IDK if they made this as an intentional choice or not, but Its honestly a really interesting take. Like even in the original dr2 game, we don't get to see Sato's face, so maybe its supposed to be different memories on how she is meant to look like… Or it can be just that they really didn't have a specific design for her but shh, lemme delude myself just for today.

Honestly, I think all of these are unique in their own way. Dr3 introduced us to Sato's MUCH more unique hair color, green. Which clashes perfectly with not only Natsumi's blonde, but also Mahiru's red, creating a nice traffic light.

But I also really like the beta design by how unique she looks. While the hair is something, its very interesting to see, not to mention her interesting face design. Ive talked before on how Sato seems to have more shut eyes and they are moved slightly upward, but this design also makes her mouth more unique in a sense??? IDK what it is, but it certainly stands out. (Also wtf is Shakure??? Ive searched everywhere but I cant find what it means.)

And finally, the manga makes a really interesting design choice by just... covering her eyes up with her bangs. And I love this, it adds to the mystery on who exactly Sato is, Its especially really surpising considering the Chiaki manga came out way later than Dr2 OR 3. Its a really nice design. Also, a neat difference between the two last ones is that the dr2 manga has spikier hair, the only one in the roster of 4 that does it, which while it goes against how she looked before, it also is pretty neat. (I hc it as Satos emo phase lol)

Is there any design you personally enjoy out of them? I saw someone say there could be an interesting mix between all of them. But I wanna know what you all think.

You’re right. We don’t know what consequences could arise from killing Shirogane. But we do know what happens if we don’t. And frankly, I don’t think anything that could come from her death would be worse than having your entire lives be retconned to be no more real than Harry Peter
