December Music
XXX is a classic, Danny raps his ass off over some crazy ass beats. Die Like a Rockstar or 30 is probably my favorite. Or DNA or EWNESW or Scrap or die or… Go back and forth between this album & Atrocity Exhibition being Danny’s best stuff
Gabriel Garzón Montano has a pretty voice, 6 8 is so hypnotic I had it on repeat for weeks
Billy Woods album is incredible, but Armand Hammer I always care for less than his solo stuff especially when it’s over Alc production. But there were a few standouts on here like Dogeared, Crisis Phone, and California Games
New Mavi fell a bit flat for me maybe I’m just not depressed enough rn, Shadowbox didn’t hit for me the first few listens either and it became one of my favorite albums sooo I’ll try again in a few months
Sault’s music is so full of love and warmth, could listen to Cleo Soul sing all day. Go listen to Colour Blind off this one right now it’s a lovely lil acoustic tune
Jonah Yano’s portrait of a dog is cool, kinda soft and jazzy, BADBADNOTGOOD is all over this album too. The title track is my favorite, wake up with the chorus playing in my head a lot lately
Daniel Caesar is always delightful, never get tired of hearing him sing about wanting to fuck
Made these pieces yesterday, I love how they look like film strips 🎞️
Let's Get Ethereal, a very soothing sequel to Ladies We're Levitating
SAULT // Why Why Why Why Why
All the strings are beautiful in this but that consistent bass is *chefs kiss*.
