Season 3 of Castlevania on Netflix is out!! Haven’t watched it yet so no spoilers, please! But here’s hoping that gets redemption or at least some form of happiness 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I cosplayed Hector for ALA last year with my Castlevania group and had an amazing time. There’s so much love for this series, Season 2 blew me away and can’t wait to see how 3 will go.

What are your thoughts on Ward and scars? I definitely think Harold was abusive throughout his life (Ward's reaction implied it). Do you think he has scars from the abuse? Or do you think it was mostly mental/emotional? Or do you think Harold would be "smart" enough to not leave evidence? Thoughts (besides poor bb Ward needs to be bundled up in a blanket and loved on)?
I agree. Harold was definitely abusive to Ward all his life, though I’m not sure if he left physical scars because I don’t think a blunted object (like a fist) can leave permanent marks. Harold would try to make sure there wouldn’t be any lingering evidence that could be tied to him. (Though it’s possible if he used something else, like a belt when Ward was younger, it would leave scars.)
There was definitely mental and emotional abuse, but from the show we saw quite a bit of physical abuse too. Ugh, our poor grumpy muffin needs protection and love.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT
"THERE'S A FUCKING SPIDER IN MY BED."
