nathan most certainly filming in aotearoa, still with beard. i feel like this means one of two things:

1. fandom headcanon of lucius living in the walls of the revenge, and possibly "haunting" ed, is actual canon (because we all know ghosts can't grow beards).

2. after drifting for a few days (perhaps clinging for dear life to a broken piece of furniture from stede's cabin), lucius is scraped out of the sea by the crew of the queen anne's revenge (which high-tailed it out of there as soon as they saw the english on the horizon in ep 8), but the QAR has been captured and commandeered by anne bonny and mary read. lucius, who can't wait to see the look on ed's face when he finds out, is a most delighted prisoner. he gives up shaving because the leather daddies love the scruff.
