savecats (aka orangecatnoah) is an animal abuser and scammer

savecats, aka orangecatnoah, purrfectorangenoah, kelvinandalex, orangekittenstwins, or deborah crankin is a scammer who is likely abusing multiple cats to garner pity for "their poor kitten with cancer" to raise money.

deborah crankin is an infamous scammer who has been previously linked to fundraiser scams, where she has raised upward of 300k. screenshots below from @inst4scams on instagram show that crankin's deadname was registered to the paypal accounts for two separate fundraisers for cats with cancer, macaulaythecat and kelvinandalex.

note that in the instructions for the first fundraiser, the donor is advised to use "friends and family" instead of "goods and services" to avoid possible refunds by paypal, which was later added to the kelvinandalex page. combined, these fundraisers raised about 60k, and have since been inactive since last year, with no updates on the "urgent" and "life-saving treatment, or additional images of the cats. both of these fundraisers were put up in 2023.

notably, the rebooted orangecatnoah fundraiser has a venmo (linked to a fictional name of noah gritz), a giveahand campaign, a tiktok to raise awareness of the campaign, a youtube dedicated to it, yet no paypal, probably due to the risk of disputes. comments are disabled on their current gofundme for likely the same reason.

countless other scam campaigns have been linked to this person, with no updates on the cats after a certain amount (say, 20k) has been reached.

updates on noah's condition while fundraising rises to 40k have been scanty, only offering more and more dire deadlines to meet:

noticeably, videos of noah at the vet only show a relatively healthy-looking cat, and all of them seem to be taken from the same visit, posted separately to give the impression that noah is receiving regular vet care. while these clips may just be re-used for fundraising videos, the fundraiser's identity casts doubt on the best possible interpretation. additionally, why aren't there pictures of noah in his carrier on the way to the vet - for his many vet visits, for his dire condition?

graphic pictures of noah unable to get up, breathe, and bleeding from the mouth and nose aren't uncommon when looking at the fundraiser, and pictures of noah at the vet would probably achieve the same goal: of boosting visibility for his vet care.

however, images of him seem confined to the same few that crankin has on hand, the most bloody front and center of the campaign.

if these photos are recent as his cancer progresses, why are they the oldest videos and photos that deborah crankin seems to own? the below youtube reels are from two months ago (the same time that the gofundme was posted), however vet visits posted from the same time allegedly showing noah's trips to the vet show that his poor state is relatively new - in the above clips, he frisks with the vet team and lets them pet him, rubs against their legs, jumps on and off tables, etc., and his face is unscathed - with no scarring that is obvious from his nosebleed.

while there are many scenarios that could be at play, it is probable that the fundraiser is abusing noah. the most obvious sign is that in the above images, noah has scarring visible around his nose where it is bleeding - allegedly from his cancer, but more likely from an inflicted wound. the cat also appears frightened in other videos; all the better for crankin, who emphasizes that noah's obvious shows of fear are due to his cancer. but why would anyone want to hurt a kitten just to make them look sick and in pain?
