This horse is at a feed lot right now. He will ship to slaughter on the 15th. Regardless of that, he needs help NOW. If you swipe through the photos, you will see why. Its looks to me like he is suffering from CPL, but it could also be cellulitis. Who knows. Either way, he needs out now. He will NOT receive vet care on this lot. The problem is, he is in Texas. He cannot travel far. I have a friend who has an equine rescue in TX and after speaking with her, she has agreed to take him in. They are going to have their vet out and TRY to help him. If he is too far gone and the kindest thing to do is to help him pass peacefully then that is what will be done. STILL WORTH IT. He does not deserve to die on that lot and he does not deserve to be slaughtered. I told her we would cover his bail and they will cover all of his vet expenses, quarantine and on going care.
