#SaveOurInternet
Listen you can care about article 13 all you like but until you can convince you’re parents it’s a problem it’s not gonna be stopped.
My dad has seen the ads that YouTube released and when I asked him what he thought about it he said there’s nothing he can do and that the government slip in new rules all the time. If every older generation thought this, it’s a big problem as it means lots of people just won’t contact their local government. So please
Convince your parents of dangers of article 13
This stuff is WHY I’m afraid of Article 13. We NEED to fight for our internet, we need to save it. I am not losing my friends, my FAMILY because of some stupid cunts
This Film Theory video explains everyone about Article 13 in simple terms:-
•It will affect internet users around the globe not just in EU.
•Memes, fanfiction, edits, parody...any content made on exisiting copyrighted content will all become a thing of the past: they infringe copyright law within the EU.
•Companies that project their content worldwide will usually choose to abide by the strictest laws and engage one policy for all users reflecting Article 13's law. Remember the tumblr email earlier this year updating the 'private policy'? This 'General Data Protection Regulation' was only passed in the EU, but worldwide companies including Tumblr, Twitter, Reddit, Google and Instagram changed their polices to match it for ALL USERS.
•The detailing of the law is intentionally vague, allowing them to stop anything with the potential to be law infringing to be uploaded in the first place.

Petition to beat Article 13
Please help the petition to stop Article 13 and please reblog. No matter if you’re in Europe or outside of Europe. A lot of your favourite European youtubers like TheRPGminx (alongside with her wife), Marzia, It’s Black Friday, PewDiePie, KSI, Jacksepticeye and many more are in danger. Even fan art and fanfiction are in danger as well.
