Ok… This is what happened to Fraser

-His wife ditched him and asked for 900k a year,

-He was sexually assaulted which he said kicked him into a deep depression

-He stated that the stunts from the 3rd Mummy movie completely destroyed his body and he was in and out of the hospital for 7 years even having to get surgery to repair his vocal cords.

-He apparently blamed himself for all this which only worsened his depression.

This man has literally been through hell this past decade so please lets cut him some slack and wish him the best

All this but also that picture on the right is a really bad paparazzi photo compared with a professional quality movie promo still. No one looks good when some random person snaps you on the street, regardless of who you are.

Sorry for not posting much lately, I’ve been busy with work and personal stuff, including an upcoming spinal x-ray I’ve been waiting over a decade for and the angriest doctor I’ve ever met in my life

Oof. At 16, I “twisted” my ankle, and was constantly told that I “just have weak ankles” like that’s an explanation to spraining the same one six times a year. I’ve gone to the ER because I bent down and something cracked and I couldn’t walk properly, only to be turned away because “you got here, you just twisted it. Put some ice on it.”

I was never able to wear sneakers, sandals, heels… It was ankle boots or higher, or I’d kill myself. Even with the boots, I had three different ankle braces that I picked from every day, with a fourth walking cast for the emergencies. Sometimes I would be walking with my mom and sister and have to stop, because the pain in my ankle was making me nauseous. I got a lot of eyerolls for “ducking out on shopping”. I threw up after walking 4 hours in Paris because the streets were cobblestoned and it hurt so bad-

14 years before I finally managed to see a podiatrist, and he takes a few x-rays and says “Jesus, this has been broken at least three times, there’s chunks of bone missing, and your tendons are basically- you know when a rubber band is left in the cold?”

I went into surgery less than a month later, and haven’t had a problem with it in the last 2 years. When someone tells you they’re in pain, it’s worth listening to them.
