Saying Grace

I sat on the deck this afternoon after church with a plate of leftovers. I started to eat, and then remembered to thank God, to “say grace” for the meal. Sometimes “saying grace” is perfunctory. CASEY: FLAMBOYANT, JOYFUL, EMPATHETIC, SIMPLE, PROUD I want a church where a queer, flamboyant person like me can walk into the room and not need an explanation for myself.  A place where no one needs a label to understand me.  A place where I don't fear the plague of toxic masculinity.  A place where I do not feel judged for being a feminine man.  I don't need someone giving me speeches about their own interpretation of verses from a book.  I would like a place to discuss ideas and morals and what makes people good.
