Really inspired by the characters in the animation.
This is the background music I chose for my animation.

This Jazz music heard quite funny and humorous just the same as my animation.
Final Piece - Here is my final draft, ready for hand in.
Tweaks - Grave stones popping up at the end now have their own individual synced sounds.
SBC - Evaluation
So for this project we were thrown in the deep end. Using a programme many, if not all of us had never used before has proven a challenge. Even with this I feel that this whole project has been a complete success.
I'm perfectly happy with my final piece, I feel that I have done everything I can to make it progress and look as crisp, professional and easy to look at as possible. My task was to design a 30 to 60 second clip on after effects using a given subject to reflect upon, I got given "gun ownership in the UK" and from this I compared UK to USA, deaths and attitude towards guns.
I feel as if I have learnt a huge amount from this project, I did many tutorials and took in a vast amount of information which has stuck with me for the future.
You can see my final animation below, even though I'm perfectly happy with it, nothing is ever really complete, I'm sure there are a few tweaks that can be done to make it even better. My favourite part of the piece would have to be the opening scene, where the words arrive on screen in synch with the music. My least favourite bit would have to be the slide after. I feel the question "did you know" is a bit too widely used and maybe even a bit obvious, as the video is factual, it might not need that question.
My music choice was a hard one, I'm trying to give off a sense of irony, I feel the music, which sounds like it could be from Pixar, does this perfectly.
Overall I have defiantly enjoyed this project more than any other thus far, I feel that my strengths lie with digital software such as After Effects and Dreamweaver so it was fun to exercise this.
This is my final draft for our last crit, i have a bit of time to edit it after this but there is few things i shall change.
I plan on changing minor issues such as where things line up, such as the "2006" on the tallying up slide, and i had a small issue with synching sound to the grave stones popping up, i shall try and get one pop to one grave.
