I got the stupidest fucking idea and I gotta share it.
Imagine with me: what if, instead of both landing on SBK, after crossing the portal Marm made, Drift lands on Vampires?
I'm imagining her immediately going to stress-raid the old manor, because it looks like the only place that could contain any valuables. She finds Scott's tomb, with him still asleep inside, and doesn't question a thing. He looks similar enough to her codependent bestie, he's now her new emotional support not-entirely-human blue-haired guy.
Scott wakes up and discovers he has accidentally adopted a little gremlin with very sticky fingers and separation anxiety. He's not entirely opposed to that, especially since she doesn't tattle on what he is, nor does she prevent him from doing a thing. She even offers her blood. Honestly, it's kinda neat.

A little in love with Scott's and Drift's relationship, especially that one bit where Scott goes "yeah we're married" and Drift just goes along with it until they actually talk about it after

They are the two besties who have made a deal to marry one another if theyre both still single by 50 (that or marriage for tax benefits)
