I know a lot of people are having a hard time right now with the avid and marm situation but I do want to say this, please don't let this ruin the MCYT community for you.

I know a lot of people were drawn in by avids characters both from in and out of the MCYT space and while he wasn't a good person, that doesn't mean his community was bad. It was great while it lasted and honestly we need to bring the open mindset into the bigger MCYT sphere. A lot of systems felt seen and welcomed in avids community and they should feel seen and welcomed in any community.

I know this is probably easy for me to say as someone who has been through this before (I was a huge Wilbur soot fan, fucking hate that man now) but genuinely please don't let bad experiences ruin a good thing. The broader MCYT community is amazing and has gotten me through so much, dont let that be taken from you over this.

Summary:

A Grove has little use for a Name. Communicating only among roots and the rustle of wind and leaves, it bears no desire for the connection that other beings need Names to achieve. Such things would separate the collective, for the Grove as a whole cannot be Named. So, like their cousins the allays and vex, the Groves remain Nameless in the eyes of the Universe. Though the truest of true Names are only formed that way, there are other ways that an entity may gain a name with its own power.
