hey, a knight of rage here. i dont know if youre still active but i dont know where else to look. long story short, my prince of time has been kidnapped by an evil fish princess from another session, my rogue of life is grimdark, my mage of heart is bleeding out, and the rest of my players are nowhere to be found, and arent answering texts. is there anything we can do to save our session?? sorry for rambling
we are still active, just aren’t getting a lot of asks to be answering.
help the mage first. the kiss of life is always good, unless their dreamself is already dead. in that case, you need to godtier them by way either of their quest bed or one of the sacrificial slabs.
after that, take care of your rogue. a good hug should take care of their grimdarkness just fine, the only problem is getting close to them. which your mage can help with once they’re not, you know, dying.
Then, the three of you can go save the prince from the evil fish princess. Easy peasy!

Say you pass the door, wake up in a room, and the SBURB client software is already booting up on the computer. Aside from contacting the server player and escaping meteors, what criteria would you use for pre-entry prototyping? (Assume you're not playing a version that makes the previous player your sprite and you have to deal with whatever stupid thing they threw in and council them instead of the other way. I hate those games.)
Pre-entry prototyping is always a tricky thing, and very much subject to the needs of the individual players and their needs. You need to pick something that has the proper balance of not so powerful as to completely doom your session–I’m looking at you, space players who prototype their first guardians–but also isn’t so weak as to be game-breaking. It may seem like a good idea to prototype a tissue so you have super weak enemies, but then once you start attacking them and they start splitting into two and suddenly where you had one imp you have seven tiny imps all attacking you at once. I had a co-player who did exactly that once. The session was ridiculously hard. Likewise, it may seem like a cool idea to throw a teddy bear into the kernelsprite, but then you have to massacre cute little teddy imps with some strange deformity from whatever your co-players prototyped. Also, and this is an important one so I’ll bold it, do. not. prototype a pet or deceased relative pre-entry. do you really want to be killing imps that look like your dead nanna? Likely not. save reviving her for afterwards. Aside from that, what you prototype is really up to you. I am curious, though, the way you worded it makes it seem as if SBURB downloaded independently onto your computer, which is largely unusual. I feel like your session is going to be an interesting one for certain.

would it be copying canon if a kid gets mixed with a first guardian? what aspect would be good to sprite with a first guardian besides Space?
Hey there! If it's for your own project than go for it!!! As long as it isn't the same exact situation that you're claiming to be 100% your own original, then who cares, do what makes ya happy!
and imo, i think Time is a great aspect since it's the other essential half to the genesis frog creation, but it also depends on the character, it could be whatever aspect suits/challenges the character more. Hope that helps
