This is the second piece in my Halloween series. Jason is one of my favorite slashers and I wanted to make him cute, but still creepy and I think I got it!
As with the vampire, I used the same base to create the costume on top of. This is a style that is new to me, but I really like and am working hard on mastering my signature style.
If you want a spoooky friend, he’s available on my Redbubble:
Swiss culture is being scared out of your pants when the sirens start howling before you remember the approximately 58 times that you have been warned that the siren test will be happening today.
I’m adding a “Read More” cause I need to rant without telling my close friends and family - they’ll be too concerned for my disappointment or too excited about it which won’t help me just see it as a possible plan (rather than a perfect plan.)
So...(thanks for being interested enough to keep reading!)
I’ve got an interview on the 17th. It’s for a job I was pretty excited about but I have looked it up more today and it’s like perfect. It’s exactly what I want to do - I wasn’t sure these sort of jobs even existed. I’m going to look around the Unit Friday to get a better idea but I’m sure that it is pretty perfect. But experience wise I might not be qualified enough for it - so I’m not sure it’s likely that I’ll get it despite getting an interview.
Now it will be a fair journey from home. BUT if I manage to pass my driving test on the 12th then that is going to suddenly get a lot better. It’s just under an hours drive - on public transport it is just over 2.
Also, if I did get this job I would look at moving closer. I had a quick look and I could afford to buy a house in the area. The salary for the job is good enough and it’s full time. So even if I don’t pass I just need to do the awful travelling for a few months (or until I eventually pass my driving test) before I can afford to buy (I have savings specifically for this already).
The job is in Sunderland, if I did move to Sunderland then it would change an hour and a bit drive to a half hour drive to see my partner too. (This is super early days, but it enters into my head). I’d be just under an hour away from home too -- which isn’t what I wanted originally but I do genuinely think if I’m driving I would be going home and seeing people a lot (public transport is effort so I know that would make it hard).
The big thing here is the job. If I don’t pass my driving then I keep testing until I do pass, and get trains until then. If I don’t get the job these jobs are rare. But I need to just keep looking for full time work...
It’s just a possible plan. But it feels like a bloody good one.
