okay, so about the new CRK update, I have opinions First of: FINALLY!!! the TBD makes it's appearance XDDD Now, with what I remember from ovenbreak I expected her voice to be a bit.. y'know, crazier? Not too much, just a little coo-coo. Then again, I haven't played oven break in a long while given I have yet to recover my account. Other than that. The TBD being here means there's a chance of Schneeball Cookie (one of my oven break faves, next to Amber Cookie) making an appearance =DDD

so

my parents they're uh quite homophobic,

and they found the things from the gay factory(pride event I went to recently), so today my father took me to the park so that he could have "a talk" with me in the car. Yelling at me that he's tolerated things from me like letting me have longer hair(hear this?) and that he is revolted that I brought "Gay and TrAnS (he mocks these things as he's being a very immature 50 year old) into his house" and as usual made a bunch of metaphors like comparing them to killers and saying that he knows this stuff because he's older and I'm "a man"(I don't wanna be one you old sack of shit) and that if I had a son and he started doing wrong would you let him fall into a hole and die; I can't even be surprised at the comparisons he's using, he's always been like this, saying being queer's things of demons and it hurts god and whatnot

plus my dad made me tear off the stickers from my computer and ripped off a few things from my sketchbook so more the reason for me to hate that asshole and avoid him as much as I can

plus he almost made me delete all my socials bc it's all infected by the devil, my devices are doors I opened for lucifer; Until he forgot about it to do something else ofc. Now, I'm able to do as I normally do now because I am alone at the moment, but I might be less active in the following however long it takes for me to get employed and be able to avoid this big walking insecurity riddled with fragile masculinity.

Siffrin Guard update 1

Okay, I want somewhere to document what I've learned and done, so Tumblr will suffice.

summary: I wrote dialogue, put some music for the intro & game over (that I will replace later), made a quick custom night portrait, & debug. About the debugging part, turns out because Frickbears is coded to draw from one line of code, & APPARENTLY adding a comma in a song title even inside quotation marks & such makes whatever's after the comma a completely new line. I removed the comma from the song title, but now I'm worried about the dialogue I wrote for when Sif talks to Dreadbear, which contains more dialogue than in the original template and thus needed commas to separate stuff, but I think it might be ok because I'm using brackets (hope)

(tldr: I didn't know that no matter what commas signified line breaks in GML and screwed myself over because of it)

Aside from that, there's this rudimentary icon I drew for Siffrin's selection in Custom Night, NOT in a Frickbears style and I do intend to fix that with a further iteration.

... What's it look like you ask?

yeah he takes up 3KB of my computer. In hindsight it might've been better NOT to draw pixel art without drawing a ref and stuff, or, y'know, doing something but 48x48. Which is Mike's portrait size (the only one I had on me) so I used that for an Idea on what the size of the image is supposed to be. I'll figure out how I'll change this later But yeah, that's pretty much all my progress on Frin today. Most of it was spent figuring out the portrait on piskel with a mouse, and stressing over the comma that crashed my game with any jumpscares on siffrin, broke the music listener menu thing, and stars know what else
