Pipe Clamps

Finally got around to modeling/blocking out the clamps that will be used in game

Basic rundown on how the pipe system works, each pipe can have some sort of damage/problem:

Each of these types has multiple solutions, which include rerouting the pipeline, or simply replacing the part entirely However each one also has a clamp, which are instant solutions with varying uses

CONTROL CLAMPS

Restriction Clamp - Slows or halts flow through a pipe. Allows for manual placement of valve General Pros: Controls pressure; emergency shutoff Cons: Reduces system throughput; potential buildup

Pump Clamp - Increases flow speed or pressure Inefficiency Pros: Boosts weak systems Cons: Requires power (possibly) )or maintenance; can stress pipes

Pressure Equalizer Clamp - Balances pressure across segments Concaved / Inflated and Ruptured (Burst) Pros - Prevents bursts and implosions Cons - Expensive and slows flow

UTILITY CLAMPS

Filter Clamp - Filters out solids and contaminants, Delays blockage build and ensures it Blocked / Clogged Pros - Delays infection and blockages Cons - Slows flow; needs regular cleaning

Sensor Clamp - Monitors flow rate, pressure, or contamination General Pros - Gives system diagnostics and alerts Cons - Passive; needs power (possibly) or logging system

Drain Clamp - Opens to release fluid from low points or at shutdown Blocked / Clogged Pros - Prevents buildup Cons - Must be timed carefully; can waste product PROTECTION CLAMPS

Reinforcement Clamp - Strengthens weakened or aged pipe sections. Cheaper Alternative to the pressure equalizer clamp, prevents inflation to a point Inflated (Overpressure) and Damaged (Cracked/Leaking) Pros - Prevents breakage or bursts Cons - Won’t fix internal damage

Structural Lock Clamp - Prevents collapse under negative pressure Concaved (Collapsed) Pros - Maintains shape integrity Cons - Doesn’t help with flow blockages And that's all the pipe clamps, I'm going to make a trim sheet so only one material is used on all pipes and pipe clamps, so should be quite efficient
