I have a bug question! So I live in Central North carolina and I'm starting to see cicadas all over my porch. The green and black kind with red eyes. Is this a normal time of year for cicadas to come out? I usually never actually see them in spring so I'm really confused! A lot of the cicadas are dead too. They look malformed, like they didn't develope quite right after they shed. I dont know a lot about cicadas. Is this normal for them?

Sounds like you're describing periodical cicadas if they have red eyes. Yes, they generally come out in spring. Brood XIX, which is a 13-year periodical cicada, is emerging now. As far as them being malformed, I couldn't say without seeing them.

So far I've added

More atypical hair colors, namely blue, pink, and purple hair along with just no hair.

More atypical eye colors, such as gold and red eyes.

Body type and white hair are already included, but of course, you will be able to change body types as well in Chapter 1! Heterochromia, however, I am not sure I'll add (maybe!).

Distinctive features — a work in progress. I think I'll add different ear types, and someone also asked about freckles, vitiligo, and poliosis. Vitiligo and poliosis are conditions and/or (signs of) disorder, but they'll only be cosmetic within the game. Hence, I am not sure if I'll call them by those names (perhaps just irregular hair streak and skin markings).

Anyway, I'm at my computer now, so if anyone has suggestions, I'd be really grateful! I'm honestly a little stuck with adding more options for distinctive features. But to everyone who contributed, thank you so much!! 💕💕

i don't have any pictures but wanted to share some bug stories that i remembered! when i was in high school i was on a field trip and an inchworm decided to hitch a ride on my bag, so we hung out until i got back to school and let him go. another very similar thing happened when i got to college! i was studying in the library and noticed an inchworm on my bookbag, so we kept each other company until i had to go to class and he had to go back outside

Maybe you were an inchworm in a previous life and they can feel your incredible vibes
