Can you please help me get the word out about trans woman being persecuted in the UK? They are right now tarring Scarlet Blake up for crimes she DID NOT commit. It’s instead fabrication by an ex taking PRIVATE CONVERSATION that was venting way out of proportion. This is very similar to what is done against so many trans women who everyone itches to see in the worst light.

okay, so for anyone who looks into this, cw for murder and animal death. like, very graphic descriptions of torturing and killing a cat.

i'm not sure what to think here, bc the only news sources i've been able to find are about her being found guilty of the crimes for which she was accused. however, the only sources reporting on this are uk news which are infamously systematically transphobic.

one thing brought up over and over again is the live-stream she allegedly made of the mentioned cat killing, however i can't find that footage to confirm its existence and besides wouldn't be able to watch it because even just reading about it was making me nauseous. i found cctv footage of her supposedly tracking down and killing the victim. however, the killer is wearing a nondescript hooded jacket and mask very similar even to what the victim was wearing, so it's impossible for me to tell if that was Blake or not.

the closest i can find to an article defending her was this one where it's aledged that her girlfriend at the time coerced her into committing these acts against her will, taking advantage of Scarlet being very clearly mentally unwell. the main thrust of the articles isn't even that Scarlet is innocent, but simply that her partner should be tried as aiding and abetting. it the website also seems to be primarily about cats and animal rights, not really a news outlet. i can find no articles or even blog or social media posts claiming that she is entirely innocent.

i won't endorse the view that she is entirely innocent, however i am also not going to say it's impossible that she was set-up considering how trans women are treated in the uk.

Please help raise awareness of Scarlet Blake, a trans woman of color with mental health issues who was turned into the authorities in the UK alleging she committed a murder 2 years ago. She was turned in by an ex who may have fabricated some or all of the evidence especially as a nazi sympathizer but nobody is looking at that. Whatever you think of the allegations they are sending Scarlet to a male prison and there needs to be outrage about it. Nobody will be brave enough to do this alone we need to do it collectively.

I mean.....I think she very much killed that guy.

They are posting her face on terf sites dedicated to attacking trans woman “criminals” and spreading lies about statistics. She is already deeply in danger and we need light on her to be sure it doesn’t get worse and to get true crime investigators to use their energy for good and help show what really happened. Scarlet is a trans woman of color, with fragmented personality and mental health issues. She is being used as a scape goat and whipping girl.

A quick search for the name Scarlet Blake shows that she was actually sentanced to 24 years, a couple of weeks back and part of the evidence used against her was a live stream video of her killing and mutilating a cat and a second video of her allegedly strangling another woman until she passed out.

There are various articles about her to read, but out of all of the UK media, I would trust the Guardian to be fair to the event, the facts, and to not sensationalise it.

Did she kill the Spanish chap and chuck him in the river, as the prosecution has stated?

I don't know, but a jury and a judge seemed to believe she did.

I would assume there would have been some sort of psychological assessment made of her, considering the crimes she is charged with and the situation surrounding it, which is why the judge stated that she doesn't have any fragmented personality disorder.

Should she be in a male prison? That's a whole other issue that I'm not qualified to answer.

So the original anonymous message to me asked if I would help get the message out about her. Which I think I have done in a fair and balanced way.

I'd be interested to know what anybody else thinks about this, or if you have received the same anon message.
