Scarlet Weredog!AU :) because I can and I want to.

Finally watched the werepoodle show [as a werewolf fanatic I was surprised I hadn't seen the series having loved the first movie], and I love it. Thought of a neat AU where Scarlet decides she wants to be a werewolf too xD to 'officially' be part of the pack, even though she is already in show (even though she's a human lol).

The AU would follow Scarlet who after coming face to face with Swiss again, starts to doubt if she actually isn't a hunter anymore... since it is in her blood. She also gets a black eye, somehow, and she sees it as a sign that she might truly be a hunter at heart [even though she doesn't want to]. (This is because like, Swiss, Freya and the first Lupin from ep. 1 all had an eye-patch, and were werewolf hunters xD)

She basically then has an epic battle-type thing with Swiss, and magically (probably thanks to the Moonstone) becomes a weredog. Her hair also goes back to red, because yes I do headcanon she's a secret ginger - her parents all have red/brown hair, and her grandma is also a ginger, and her name is Scarlet XD like the signs are there.

She's a red Australian Kelpie :) because I think it fits her.

Ok but this scene in S1 Ep 12 is hilarious . She missed her dart shot so she decides next best thing is to scream at the two wilderwolves heading her way xD Like girl... that won't help but love the confidence.

So, I was thinking about the possibilities of Freddy X Batty and Freddy X Scarlet in the future and decided to share my thoughts.

No one has specifically shown feelings for anyone at the current moment, though Freddy X Scarlet have definitely been hinted at more. I have no idea if either ship will go anywhere in the show, but I want to speculate what could happen if they do. Obviously, the easiest route would be to just have Freddy end up with one of them and that’s it. But my brain has been wondering at the possibilities of both girls having feelings for Freddy. However, I personally do not think Batty could have feelings for Freddy unless she ends up with him. Reason being, is that they are the closest characters. If Batty likes Freddy, and Freddy chooses Scarlet instead, that would put a HUGE dent in Freddy and Batty’s relationship and make everything awkward. So let’s not do that. Now, Scarlet could have a crush on Freddy, even if he does choose Batty, because they aren’t the show’s main relationship and it would be much easier for Scarlet to move past that rejection.

So, Scarlet X Freddy has been hinted at more, and my shipping intuition says that’s where they’re headed. For these reasons (and another one), this is the ship I prefer (the other reason is I like the idea of Freddy and Batty staying friends). I also quite like the idea of Batty being jealous in a different way: that Freddy is going to leave/forget about her since he has a girlfriend now (tHE ANGST POTENTIAL FOR THAT IS INCREDIBLE). Despite all that, I definitely wouldn’t be upset if Freddy and Batty did become a couple. I’m sure they’d be great, and I’d be shipping them as well. Freddy X Scarlet is simply my current preference.
