Hey! The name's Kath, or Fox / Malta. (she/they) I love a vast range of series and films, most of which are lesser known by the general public and I seem to be one of the few people who grew up with them. In this blog I post and share fanart, theories and even AUs I came up with for the shows I like, as well as reblog some amazing art by other fan-/artists!. WARRIOR CATS - FANCLAN CHALLENGE pt.2

Name choice reasons:

Wettail [warrior] - Cleo turns into a mermaid by getting wet, and ultimately gains a fish 'tail' as a result - so I thought it would be fun to highlight that in her warrior name.

Scarletrose [warrior] - In the show, one of Carmen's alias/nicknames is 'Scarlet Santa Rosa' - so its a nod to that, and the fact she gave red roses to Julia in the interactive special.

Spiketail [warrior] - Stormfly is a dragon with a spiky tail haha, so it felt fitting for her.

Daisyfur [warrior] - Daisy is her name, so this was an easy pick. Went with the fur suffix as it felt fitting to her elegant demeanor.

Thunderscar [warrior] - Thor is the god of thunder, and he has a missing eye/scar as a result so ugh... not the most creative but it works haha.

Jane [kittypet turned warrior] - Couldn't find a fitting name, but I think her being originally a kittypet then turned warrior would fit her canon lore :)

Honeyfur [warrior] - Fur as a suffix idk why, nothing else seemed fitting haha. Honey prefix was chosen since Chuck is a bee-girl/honey farm owner haha. Her neck scar is a nod to her 'death' in the series due to chocking.

Fallensight [queen] - Alison falls down a window and gains the ability to see ghosts. Her scars also mirror canon injuries she got.

Stardoe [queen] - In the show, Scully's nickname from her father is starbuck - so I wanted to reference that, but used doe instead - the female buck :)

Sharpeyes [queen] - Elsbeth as a character has very keen observation skills, so this name felt fitting to that skill haha.

Littlepaw [apprentice] - Avery is often referred to as being short/tiny for her age, so that prefix was an easy pick. I do not quite know what her suffix would be as a warrior... maybe it becomes paws which is a canon suffix haha.

Shadowpaw [apprentice] - Claire dabbles in shadow magic - her suffix would become -light, as she is at the end of the day a good user of that magic.

Flamepaw [apprentice] - Janet dies in a fire 🫣 so this is a bit dark haha... her suffix would become -spirit, as she is spirited/determined and a ghost lol.

Lavenderpaw [apprentice] - Nod to Amity's hair colour in the later seasons. Her suffix would become -whisker or -paws, or any of the more cat related suffixes ^^

Beepaw [apprentice] - She's Queen Bee ~ ofc it had to be bee haha. Her suffix would likely be -sting haha.

WARRIOR CATS - FANCLAN CHALLENGE pt.1

Been seeing so many folks do their own fanclan ~ I had to do my own hehe :3c This is part 1 of two (as I had drawn toooo many cats to fit into one image XD).

I love warrior cats, so these were so so fun to design!! All characters featured are either my favourite character from their respective media, or the one I like the most if I have multiple favs haha - Not the only characters I like, there's definitely a few I missed :'D but these were the ones that popped into my head as I was working on them <3

Created in April of this year, posting now cause I was busy the past month finishing Uni haha.

Name choice reasons:

Lightstar (formerly Lightflower) [leader] - Elena's name means light, and her surname is Castillo Flores, meaning Castle Flower - so I went with flower since castle isnt a canon warrior cat suffix :)

Spikeflame [deputy] - Gretel's a very spiky and determined character, her hair is also very orange so I felt flame would be appropriate and match her personality.

Darkspirit [medicinecat]- Marcille practices dark magic.

Violetpaw [med-apprentice]- Tara's colour scheme is purple, so it felt fitting. As a warrior her suffix will likely be -sight, alluding to her vision powers.

Rabbitleap [warrior]- Cocoa's a rabbit xD so this was easy haha. Ties perfectly with the twisted being given a jumping ability update in this year's Easter event.

Sleekfoot [warrior]- Perry's very sleek for a platypus, and foot ties into how male platypuses are venomous (he also often jump kicks Doof).

Nightheart [warrior]- The Baron wakes up at night, so his "heart" comes to life at night. Thats it.

Sunshimmer [warrior]- Easy cause both sun and shimmer are canon preffixes/suffixes in the Warriors universe hahaha

Snowpelt (formerly Streampaw) [warrior]- Streampaw was chosen cause of Allison's surname being 'Wells' so that water connection. Changed as a warrior, given her canon lore I think as a warrior cat she wouldve been one whose name gets changed. Snowpelt is a nod to her nickname 'Snowball' given to her by the Aceys in the 2nd film.

Weaselbite [warrior]- Since mongoose isnt a canon prefix, I went with the next best thing. The suffix bite just alludes to the big grin Yungoos has as a pokemon hehe. Also Weaselbite is a female ~ as my first yungoos is game was a female.

Cinnamonpelt [warrior]- Her name is her initials inverted / reflecting her fur colour. P-illomena C-unk -> C-innamon P-elt

Redclaw [warrior]- He's red, and claw was the closest in Warriors canon to knuckles haha.

Rustpaw [apprentice]- His name's Rusty, so this was easy. As a warrior, his name will likely be Rustbark - a nod to him being a dog hehe :3

PUSHING DAISIES: MLP Au

I drew the main characters from Pushing Daisies (2007) as ponies x3 because I did it with Dead like Me, and felt I should for this one as well as I enjoyed the show so much!!

(SLIGHT SPOILERS, BELOW, I RECOMMEND WATCHING THE SHOW ;V;)

Chuck - A pony x hippogriff hybrid. She cant fly or shift to a mer-pony, the latter due to the fact she doesnt know of her hybrid status (and thinks she's half pegasus).

After she dies and is re-awoken, her cutie-mark becomes faded, pupils a bit faded too and gains a death scar. She cannot touch Ned, or she would die again.

Ned's a unicorn. The way he wakes up the dead, is still by touch, and is a magic he only possesses. Due to his unsettling cutie-mark, he wears a cloak most of the time when in public. Emerson and Chuck are the only two who at first see his mark, Olive sees it eventually (she's always curious before she knows).

Emerson is a griffin, I felt his grumpy nature fit the way the species is depicted in mlp.

Olive is a pegasus, because since she's a jockey in show, in this AU she would be Wonderbolt. Her cutiemark is a prism, to symbolize all her many talents (idea given to me by my friend).

The (hippogriff) mermaid darlings, Lily and Vivian. Hippogriffs solely due to the fact they play mermaids in show xD so they had to be the canon 'mermaid' species haha.

Scarlet Weredog!AU :) because I can and I want to.

Finally watched the werepoodle show [as a werewolf fanatic I was surprised I hadn't seen the series having loved the first movie], and I love it. Thought of a neat AU where Scarlet decides she wants to be a werewolf too xD to 'officially' be part of the pack, even though she is already in show (even though she's a human lol).

The AU would follow Scarlet who after coming face to face with Swiss again, starts to doubt if she actually isn't a hunter anymore... since it is in her blood. She also gets a black eye, somehow, and she sees it as a sign that she might truly be a hunter at heart [even though she doesn't want to]. (This is because like, Swiss, Freya and the first Lupin from ep. 1 all had an eye-patch, and were werewolf hunters xD)

She basically then has an epic battle-type thing with Swiss, and magically (probably thanks to the Moonstone) becomes a weredog. Her hair also goes back to red, because yes I do headcanon she's a secret ginger - her parents all have red/brown hair, and her grandma is also a ginger, and her name is Scarlet XD like the signs are there.

Here's the design:

She's a red Australian Kelpie :) because I think it fits her.

Dog with a Blog

This show was something, it was wild - I feel like it should've been better, had potential but focused a bit tooo much on the randomest things.

This is my little au/slight re-write of the chatacters/storyline.

In my re-write, the story would focus a little bit more on Avery (which is basically what the show originally seemed to do anyways).

In this version, the series would start with the familys first meeting, and first season would focus on the siblings getting along (initially they try to split their parents, but then the season would end with the successful wedding), 2nd season would focus on their adventures as new step-siblings, with the 3rd on Stan and Princess (and their puppies).

Avery is neurodivergent, its how her mother met Bennett (he was her child therapist, but then she gets a new one when he gets together with her mother). Stan is a gift from Bennett, to be her emotional therapy dog but also to try and win her over (since Avery's first few episodes would have her very much against the choice of gaining a step-father/siblings).

Tyler would stay very much the same, his character works just fine xD and I like the fact he's good at Maths but nothing else (school related lol).

Chloe is more imaginative, and she initially thinks Stan speaking is her own imagination and it takes a while before she is actually told its true by her siblings.

Stan is the same, just a little bit less annoying, and actually provides advice to the kids from time to time.

PLURIBUS - Catified AU

I loved the show, had to draw them as cats.

All infected humans get yellow sclera, with white-yellowish pupils. They keep their iris colour.

MLP: Equestria Girls (mini-redesign)

Minor redesign to how the humanoid designs in Equestria girls works x3 saw it done in previous fan-art, so this is just my take on something similar.

The characters who come from the pony world have more equine like pupils, while the EG humans have different eyes (that they also keep in either form).

Since Sunset used the crown for evil reasons, it cursed her to have a permanent horn/pony ears (which she hides with a hat most times when in public /outside of school. Twilight also keeps her wings/horns when she returns to that universe, but the other girls loose them after they transform back.

Also doodled Sunset's demon form, her "alicorn" form and Rainbow as well as Twilight / Sci-Twi >v< + all main 6's eyes.

H2O: Just Make The Ponies.

I... I had to 🫣

Emma's a unicorn, because ofc she is. Her cutiemark reflects her ice-powers/slight cold demeanor at times, as well as her love for the water.

Cleo's a pegasus. I think it fit her the most. I would say, she doesnt fly much (a bit scared to). Her cutiemark is a dolphin which reflects her love for aquatic creatures. (also nod to Ronnie haha).

Rikki's just an earth pony, she's tough and head strong. Her cutiemark reflect her fiery personality, and her love for valuable treasures (nod to her profession in Mako Mermaids).

All three's marks have somewhat of a crescent shape as well :)) to represent the moon hehe.

You H20 au is really cool and clever, I really like the design of the different mermaids, especially Cleo! Are you going to do all the characters? I never saw the last season, but I believe there was a boy that turn into a merman or Triton.

Ahh! I believe they're from Mako Mermaids, which I havent really ever seen :'D so cant promise that Ill be doing them, unless I someday finally decide to sit down and watch it too <3

H20: Just Add Water [3/3]

Final doodles I had done related to this AU/rewrite/redesigns :)) Maybe in the future I work on more.

First doodle is a scene redraw ~ probs the cutest scene in the early episodes ;0; Louis the G.O.A.T!

The scene would go fairly the same, Louis is a bit hesitant at first (given his crush is a half-fish human now) but he loves her, so puts that aside to quickly get her out of the pool.

Louis would also complement her appearance (as she would be very ashamed) - tho he would still call her heavy as he's pulling her out xD

And a height chart/all mermaids next to each other :)c Other AU details:

Kim would find out Cleo's secret in this rewrite, she would try to expose her, but eventually the sisters realize they care for each other and Kim begins to help Cleo keep it secret. She doesn't really want to loose her sister (they still tease and pick on each other when annoyed though, they are sisters after all).

Elliot also finds out, but closer to the end of S2 - so he then helps Emma keep it secret during her family trip.

Emma returns closer to the end of S3, like Louis, and eventually gets to meet and befriend Bella too.

Charlotte is more violent as a mermaid, and would actually hurt the girls.

H20: Just Add Water [2/3]

2nd part of my H2O Rewrite/redesigns :D!!

CHARLOTTE WATSFORD

Ultra-mermaid, meaning she has all their trio's initial season 1 powers + electrokinesis (which Rikki also later gains).

Gave her an eel tail to show she's not quite a "fish" like the others.

Jealous of the trio, mostly Cleo given her interest in Louis.

As a mermaid, (or when under the moon-spell) she increases her intake of fish and crustaceans - however as a human she keeps a regular diet.

She also is a bit more aggressive after her transformation, given her predatory nature.

Abilities: Hydrokinesis, Hydro-Cryokinesis, Hydro-Thermokinesis, Electrokinesis.

ISABELLA 'BELLA' HARTLEY

Bella is a Merrow, a specific type of mermaid from Irish culture - she transformed into one due to shifting into a mermaid in an irish pool.

She has been this way since she was 9, and is more experienced and used to being part fish (so she is not that clumsy and gets wet the least).

Her transformation is linked to her cap, which she needs in order to transform back and fort. If she looses her cap while human/mermaid, she gets stuck as a mermaid upon touching water until she puts it back on.

It takes her the longest to switch back, even when dry, it takes her a little bit longer to switch back.

Abilities: Substanciakinesis, Psammo-Telekinesis

Will, like Zane and Louis, is also quite fascinated by his girlfriend's mermaid status after finding out.

He enjoys swimming with her, and the two often find the time to do that together.

This episode was ... ok? like its a filler sadly xD but cool to see Marinette finally get akumatized proper! (just wish it lasted a lil longer)

One thing I can say about her design, is how much she looks like Lila/Cerise's Chrysalis form when she talks to her victims... like... hello?? is that intentionally? Her design didnt really need to be those colours - Heartfixer coulve been more pink/black - but they went with purple and white eyes... with the mask she even more looks like it ah!!
