She has mind-powers, he has/is the Mind Stone, both were experiments, both have a completely opposite history/relationship with Tony Stark and Bruce Banner (she triggered both into doing the worst things possible, and both are Vision’s “parents”), both are the two most powerful Avengers. Most importantly, Vision no longer has to look like a grape in a unitard.
Personal Opinion: “Infinity War” made me actually care about them, and the mind-stone/telepath thing makes their romance vaguely interesting... but I don’t want it to last. Vision should end up either dying or leaving Earth or something. He should be her tragic first love.

Both experimented on by Hydra, both (to some extent) manipulated into committing atrocities for Hydra, both on the run from the law, both alone in the world and hated, severe guilt complexes and PTSD, uncomfortable history with Tony Stark, both dress punk-goth, both have lived on the run and poor, both dusted and possibly together in the Soul Stone now, and ah yes, one has amnesia and the other has the ability to probe people’s minds…
It’s NOT love at first sight. Bucky at first is very distrustful of Wanda and hates her, because she “chose” to join and be experimented on by Hydra, commit atrocities, and traumatize Tony Stark, whereas Bucky was forced to do all three against his will. Plus, the fact that she was a Hydra operative who specialized in mind-manipulation adds fuel to his fury. But after she uses her magic to help with his amnesia and saves people’s asses a few times, the Winter Soldier starts to melt.
Personal Opinion: FUCK YES, until I remember that Ghost exists. Then it’s FUCK WHAT DO I DOOOOOOOO!!!

Practically the same backstory! Parents killed in an explosion in front of them, gained superpowers, worked for shady organizations (likely both Hydra), spent years wanting “revenge” on a snarky scientist for his dubious involvement in their parents’ deaths, turned good at the last minute.
This is a friend-ship for me, but if you’re into femslash here you go. And if you’re into OT3s this may be a solution to the WinterWitch or WinterGhost conflict.

Two magic-wielding former villains, who both specialize in magic of the manipulation sort. This would be the Bad Romance made in Hell!
I flingship them (I’m coining the term right now, if it doesn’t already exist). That is, I like the idea of them having a short-lived romantic fling, or maybe even a marriage that ends in divorce, but not being soul-mates. I’m seeing them in a situation similar to "Labyrinth,” with Loki looking for a queen (even if he is one much of the time).

Well…. they had a F-ed up upbringing with Hydra, and must have a number of psychological problems so….. “Game of Thrones” like villains.
I’d only read a fic with this if the incest is presented as evidence of their F-ed up upbringing. If it’s just gratuitous twincest porn then no thanks.
