Scary Girl's Survey.

At first, I had Zee here since you know me, I loves me some ScarySoda. But I realized in the context of the original image, Damien would be a better fit. Source is this art by Nhim.

I think one of the main appeals to ScaryDamien, at least to me, is the potential comedy that comes from Damien's general confusion regarding Lauren and his relationship to her.

Because why him? Why did she choose him to primarily chase and tease? What about Damien aligns with her other interests that range from strange to creepy? He's just a boy who likes science??

Obviously, we as the audience know it because she like his screams (aka voice) but he doesn't know that. So now he stays up at night thinking about all the potential reasons "why" and as a result, he ends up thinking about her too.

And wouldn't it be funny if one day Damien comes to the haunting realization, that his sweaty palms and elevated heart rate when around Scary Girl are no longer because he's scared of her and it's rather because he's nervous to be around his new crush, Lauren?

So, while Damien was trying to solve this external puzzle that is Scary Girl's feelings, there was another puzzle forming internally that caused him even more restless nights. Now he's doubly confused.
