More drawings of my creature: Kusho, with a couple more facts…
-in her universe, No one knows exactly what she is or how she came to be. There are several theories though: That she’s a manifestation of the black plague, that she’s the returned curse of an ancient witch from long ago, that she’s an pagan deity from times past that lived off sacrifices, etc. and yet, there are no records of her existence in history…
-Despite her unintentionally villainous actions and frightening appearance, she can show a softer, more empathetic side when around those she trusts…
-The muzzles after a few days being connected to her, end up being part of her nervous system and yet completely separate, (ie. they can eat food and she’ll be the one eating it, yet they can make noise, bare teeth and do small movements without her noticing)…
-Her exact date of first appearance is unknown, but it’s possible it was around 1345CE or a bit earlier…
I watched Happy of the End (H.O.T.E.) yesterday and I can’t form sentences about it right now.
Other than saying I loved it, I just want to say I hope the dude who played Maya won an Oscar or the Japanese equivalent because that performance was… ya’ll… he WAS that character.
Asari Yosuke, sir, when people study acting in the future they just need to watch your performance. It’s like watching your first movie with Gary Oldman or something.
Listen, scary people are very hard to portray. Truly scary people - the ones that leave you spiraling out wondering how they became that way. The ones who make you physically uncomfortable - even being on the other side of the screen is too close. Usually even when you have a very unhinged character and a tremendously good portrayal of them by an actor - you still subconsciously register it as a performance. But not with this guy… he made it seem like they just found this insane, drug addled freak on the street and just let him wander around in a dark BL drama.
The character Maya was one of the scariest people I have ever seen on screen.
Reblog with the scariest cartoon character of your childhood!
I’ll start
I’m making fairytale dream characters and stories
Robert Helpmann as the Child Catcher in the 1968 United Artists Film “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. According to IMDB, Helpmann “took his top set of false teeth out to aid his gaunt pinched face.“ His character has often been named as one of the scariest villains ever on screen.
Imagine IMAGINE- Super gruff, monotone voiced, scary-looking character who could probably beat you up
But
They say things like “goodness gracious” and “whoopsie-daisy” unironically
If you could meet one scary character, whom would you meet?
If you could meet one scary character, whom would you meet?
I don’t watch scary movies in general. I have an overactive imagination and I get scared easily. I have have a character that I think is scary that might be controversial. It is Willy Wonka. I think he is terrifying and tries to keep it to himself that he is an evil guy. He just gives me the creeps. I mean he does almost nothing to help the kids. He enslaves a species of human called…
