Mason wanted to know what Scott thought about him. There was just so much different between them and Mason sometimes felt like the boyfriend of the True Alpha. He wondered how Scott saw him.

Scott is the big spoon and Mason is the little spoon but it's more often Scott acting as a weighted blanket for Mason and Mason being quite warm underneath his partner's body

Mason loves snow and skiing so for Christmas one year Scott drives them to Colorado and they have a ski vacation

4x09 Perishable

There are many scenes where Mason proves he has no problem helping people he doesn't know out. And in some way, he reminds me of Scott, except he's still innocent-like and not bearing a world on his shoulders like Scott. He's still a teen who has time for classes and video games with his best friend.

I love how Mason doesn't know much about the supernatural at this time - but he chooses without even a single strand of hesitation or doubt, believes in Scott when it comes to unplugging the music at the high school bonfire party.

Without any context. He's just here to help. Keep in mind, Mason is not exactly friends with Scott at this time. Nor does he know that much about him yet before he helps the pack. He just mainly knows Liam.

By unplugging the music (with good timing) - he saves scott and the packs life and I don't know if he knows it. And this is huge because how many people who barely knows Scott chooses to care for and save his life? He doesn't really know he's a true alpha and what that entails. He just, sees a person feeling sick and worried about Malias state.

Heck, Mason doesn't know that the reason why he can't tolerate the music is because he's a werewolf being poisoned by wolfsbane. Who knows, he may have helped even If they did explain things! But, there were no questions asked, no argument... he literally just raced to the stage's equipment. In fact- I don't think he ever questioned them. Basically, out of context the 'the group is feeling weird and drunk-like because of the music'. Who cares about shutting down a party, or what people will think about him. He's generally a really good person.

Of course, Mason doesn't gain anything from this other than being recognized as an ally/friend to the pack. And with no interior motives. But that's what makes this better. The loyalty and his attitude to believe in people (that wouldn't be believed if they asked anyone else). He has become an amazing character in that short span of time.

Scott looks up from pulling away his socks. He smiles and pulls his shirt over his head. "He likes to think he's funny."

Scott's eyes flash red for the briefest second. "I can take it."

For a second Mason is overwhelmed by what he's agreed to. And Stiles is beside him in a flash, holding his shoulders, whispering in his ear.

"Trust me, we won't do anything he doesn't like."

That had not been Mason's concern.

Stiles kisses his neck and holds up a rope coated in yellow powder, lined with matching flowers. "And he won't do anything to us."
