So I had a timeline error (the issue covering only a matter of hours!!!) and couldn't figure it out, so I returned to my old method of physical scene cards! LO AND BEHOLD I solved my issues, came away with a few extra scenes, and reached The End!!! :)

Fanfiction planning

So, thanks to the wonderful, lovely and amazing prompts from the KakaIru Maze Challenge 2021 I now have my first idea and very very rough outline for a longer fic (first time for a longer fic too!). 

I am mortified though, because I have no clue how to plan it, and I have a sneaking suspicion that if I do my in the spur of the moment type of writing it’s not going to work out.

So I am researching. 

Found something called Scene Cards, so I’m thinking that next, I should try to break down the main developments of the story into scenes. I should make a writing schedule too, I think. I would hate to miss the mark.

Next, I found something called Beat Sheets, which did not make any sense at all in the beginning. Too many obscure names and descriptions. 

Lo and behold, I stumbled upon this absolute GOLD MINE https://jamigold.com/for-writers/. Finally the explanations I craved and a more simple Beat Sheet to start out with. There’s even a worksheet on how to beta!! I’m so excited. 

I have enough on my Drive now to start filling stuff out and planning my story~
