Knuckles:{calmly} Everyday. My friends, family, my whole clan... Everything.

Knuckles: My father was its previous guardian at that time. So, we remained the rest of our days on the island looking over the whole valley. It was so high up in the air that it even touch the clouds... I would just stare out at the beauty of the changing seasons. The summer sun blanketed the valley with long, beautiful looking shadows... The fall leaves, just about a bounty of color... Winter was so white... The cherry blossoms in the spring.
Rouge: And... Was there a girl?
Knuckles: yes, MANY.
[Rouge raises an eybrow]
Knuckles: OH! you mean, "A woman" *chuckles softly* Nah, I was just about Tails' age when dad left and... Everything was-- *weakens a bit*
