Read anywhere. Write anywhere. Don't confine yourself to a desk, a bed, or even a city. You never know, a different setting can evoke different paths in your story. • Also, it's tempting to confine yourself to your house or that coffee shop and just bang that novel out, but if you don't live your life, have your own experiences, your writing will suffer for it. I myself, have only realized this recently. I guess what I'm trying to say is: don't shut your life down to write your novel.
