“Agent Marsden.” Jihl spoke, her voice carefully devoid of any inflection. Since joining NOVA this one had caused some waves. It was highly unusual for one of their number to be so open about holding powered individuals in high regard. Jihl supposed it was brave, perhaps even admirable but then such lines were often in close proximity to recklessness and foolishness. Regardless, NOVA needed to be ran perfectly and such perfection could not exist whole-heartedly when someone like Marsden wasn’t kept under a watchful eye.
“There’s been intel about several powered individuals behaving recklessly in the streets near the shopping mall; using their abilities to endanger property and attempting to assault locals. Several field agents, myself included will be scoping the location out this evening, fully prepared to take action as necessary. You will joining us in the event that any of these suspect individuals has magical abilities advanced forewarning would be useful.” She paused a moment to let the words sink in before adding, “Be geared up and ready to leave in twenty minutes.”
