Longass rant defending animal hospital below cuz I have free will (no I don't)

I will guarantee you that these people are the same ones who call "meccha chameleon" and "peak" friendship cuz like, just admit that you don't like it and move on? I don't see the hate?

Because being honest, YES the game is awfully long, YES the game gets somewhat tiring after a while. But the game is still well made and really enjoyable to me.

And to people who say it's "chores disguised as a horror game"......bro? I bet you your house is dirty af? I bet you that you do chores once a week? Multitasking games are fun af imo and that's why I enjoy animal hospital so much. Cuz, while yes, there are definitely better multitasking games, this one is still one of them. And a pretty unique one at that (most multitasking games are just cooking games)

And for people saying it's like 99 nights in the forest.....no it isn't? Imo 99 nights in the forest is MUCH more tiring than this game. It is a bit fun, but tbh that one gets boring much faster than AH (NO HATE TO YOU IF YOU LIKE IT, YOUR OPINIONS ARE TOTALLY VALID!)

For people saying it's a very obvious cash grab.......wouldn't it be a "kids" mascot horror game then? Or if they're too lazy, wouldn't it be a rip-off of a "kids" mascot horror game then? If they WANT to make something new, then it would be a BAD "kids" mascot horror game. See if it fits any of the categories that "animal hospital" actually is.

See? "Animal Hospital", if you actually look at it from a non-"kids cash grab" angle (that doesn't exist) you will see that it fits NONE of the aspects that "kids cash grab" games have. Infact, the only two aspects that match in both games are that you can buy OPTIONAL things with Robux and the Devs get money. But if that's "cash grab" then how the hell are these Devs supposed to get money?

Overall, this is the same thing that happened to TADC. People hating on it just because it's popular and THEY personally don't like it. It's okay to not like things but it's not okay to hate on it, plain and simple. Can we bring empathy back?

today I learnt that I absolutely ADORE emotional vocals in songs, I do NOT care about perfection. I might like it, sure. BUT IF THE VOCALS ARE EMOTIONAL, INSTANTLY IN MY TOP 10.

I absolutely ADORE the rough vocals of "My body's made of crushed little stars", the distorted voice in the end of "where's my phone?", the loud, heavy, fantastic distortion in "your best american girl" and, OFCOURSE it's not just Mitski, these are just the best examples. For non-mitski examples, laufey's "sabotage" and "snow white" (snow white even contains a voice crack)

Or maybe I'm just a loud music lunatic

HADES (Melanie Martinez) ALBUM REVIEWWWW

okay I think I should do these more often cuz I had fun with this!

This is a VERY long list of pros and cons so the review is below the line!

(along with mentions of sexual things, and uncensored swears)

(and ofcourse, no hate to Melanie Martinez or any fans who like this album. This is just my personal opinion and for entertainment. NOT to hate on anyone. Nobody deserves hate.)

PROS:-

1: I like the aesthetic a lot! Not my favourite but it's not like I don't enjoy some dystopia! I don't see a lot of dystopia nowadays too so that's nice of a change! I really like that aesthetic!

2: garbage. Possession.

3: I like how beautiful her voice sounds in a couple songs!

4: MELANIE I WILL STAY CLOSETED IRL YOU CANNOT CHANGE THAT /silly

5: god, these are beautiful lines.

MIDDLE(because I cannot figure out if this is a pro or a con):-

1: the vatican. Okay I like the meaning of it a lot, I find it interesting. But I don't really like the way it's portrayed? "Worship this pxxxy", yeah I won't stand a day listening to cupcakke. And also the "fall on your knees, get you hot, worship me like the Vatican." just makes me really uncomfortable, ehh....BUT THE SONG?! OML I LOVE HOW IT SOUNDSSSSS

2: I'm sorry how am I meant to take this line seriously...

CONS:-

Boy oh boy there are a lot...sorry Melanie! Sorry Melanie fans!

1: okay I have to say this. I am an ex Melanie fan as I don't like her songs anymore. But one of the main reasons I don't like her anymore is how sexual everything is. It makes me uncomfortable, I don't like it, PLEASE STOP MAKING EVERYTHING SEXUAL. I can understand that it's just an aesthetic, but again, this is my opinion. The way she moves is very uncomfortable to me because of how sexually she does it but that's only me.

2: the repetition...okay I understand when you have made so many songs one meaning will repeat, but like, there is a concerningly HUGE amount of songs/mvs by her that are just "she gets harmed by bad man. She kills bad man/she tortures bad man. She leaves." And at the start it was okay but now it's very repetitive. Like "is this a cult?" (For examples from the album), "the principal", "tag you're it/milk and cookies"(for examples from her other albums), etc.

3: I'm lowkey disappointed for avoidant? I thought it would be more of a happier song but seeing it switch back to the "she gets harmed by bad man, she kills bad man/she tortures bad man. She leaves" cycle

4: chatroom is my least favourite song on this album because of the meaning. Like, Melanie, you're better than this! You're much, much, much, single-flying-muchity-much-much-much better than this. If someone is sending you hate emails, that's sad, I know. That's a bad thing for someone to do. In that situation, I feel like you have a simple do's and don't's. You DO report the person for harassment and block them. You DON'T write and make an almost 7 minutes-long song dissing them.

5: the last track is geniunely disappointing? I like all the lyrics EXCEPT the main part, you know, the actual part where the song title "the last two people on earth" takes place? Because, as I said before, sexual things in songs makes me uncomfortable. I understand that others might not, this is my own opinion after all. But "f me like we're the last two people on earth"?...that feels a bit too extreme and unhinged for an album this deep.

Overall, I like the album itself, but I wouldn't really listen to it willingly and I don't like a couple of the meanings, a couple of the songs and a couple ways how the meanings are shown.

I just randomly remembered this but back when I was like 10, I don't know how I got to this point but I said something like I was feeling hurt or something, to my uncle

Either I said that my uncle is hurting me or I said that someone else is hurting me, I can't really remember

But YOU KNOW WHAT HE SAID. HE SAID "people will remember you more if you hurt them. If you hurt someone, that someone will grow up knowing you, if you are kind to someone, that someone will grow up forgetting you"

NGL I just found out Abt the tadc situation and...yup I hate being in this fandom, woo!

Huge rant about common sense below!

so for those who don't know, tadc's last episode had it's brazilian dub leaked and people didn't seem to like it and started hating on gooseworx for it.....DO YOU SEE THE PROBLEM HERE?

people are also hating on gooseworx for not caring about her episode being leaked, which....to be honest if I had a show and an episode of it got leaked, I might be sad, yeah. But like the fandom is already horrible so I don't think she had much reasons to care about her show being leaked? If she doesn't care, then don't hate her for it, it's literally HER show why do people keep forgetting that it's HER show 😭

AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE LEAKER HERE??? According to what I've heard, the leaker didn't get any trouble for that. But like, if you have the energy to hate on the LITERAL CREATOR OF THE SHOW you should probably have the energy to report the leaker if you know them?

And two more things I've heard are that, people are hating on her because they didn't like the episode? Wth? Why? People are celebrating its downfall too.....I don't even need to explain how that's wrong.

And lastly, someone said the episode has a song by a black man and it's covered by a white man but according to someone else it's an asian man. I'm asian, not black, so I won't get into that as that's not my buisness, we'll see when the episode comes out!

im finally gonna say it for once, woo! Let's hope I don't delete this like 5 miliseconds later!

I'm going to keep this as lighthearted as possible so I feel atleast a tad bit better about this post and don't just feel like I'm saying "woe is me" over and over again and then eventually delete it.

I'm such a goddamn perfectionist and I hate that! I hate that so much! Wow so fantastic! It has gotten so bad to the point where sometimes I have this moment where I hate myself for being imperfect, and for an hour or so I stay looking like a mess, feeling horrible, wow!

I just looked up if biting is a method of SH, and after a while of convincing google to tell me, I learnt that yes, biting yourself IS sh, who knew purposefully giving yourself pain is equivalent to purposefully giving yourself pain?

So yeah, I've been biting my hand as hard as I possibly can go feel better during those imperfection moments so I atleast don't look like a mess and don't feel as horrible. Helps me get the stress out. I know it's not healthy but if it's the only way, I'd gladly do it!

Also side note, I've seen a lot of people think SH comes a bit before su!cide, so I'll just say that I truely, geniunely don't want to kill myself. That literally contradicts why I do SH. I just want to feel better and it sucks when that's not possible.
